    It is a universal truth that all children love dinosaurs. And pants. Boys, in particular are great fans of the two topics. And, well, what’s not to love? Dinosaurs are totally fascinating and pants are utterly hilarious. Any book, therefore, which combines the two is bound to be on to a winner. And so it is with ‘Dinosaurs Love Underpants’.     My son received the book dinosaur’s love underpants as part of his fourth birthday present from his Aunt and Uncle. The book is quite a large paperback and is written by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort. The book was first published by Simon and Schuster in 2008 and has a recommended retail price on the back of the book of £5.99 however as we all know books can always be picked up for cheaper and you can get this one from amazon for £3.71 which includes free super saver delivery.     When bed time comes around there are some books you would rather read to your children than others, some your child loves and you read through gritted teeth, and some you both adore - Dinosaurs Love Underpants cannot fail but be in the latter category. This book is the follow up from the award winning "Aliens Love Underpants", where we learnt that missing pants have been spirited away by Aliens.     Dinosaurs love Underpants is a great fun book which I picked up for my boys. My eldest has informed me that he already knows the story as it has been the bed time story on cbeebies several times, so many will probably know the story already. The cover of the book is red and has a picture of a dinosaur wearing a pair of pants and a caveman riding on his back. The Title is at the top in blue lettering. The back cover of the book is white and has a small picture showing another dinosaur flying wearing pants as well. There is also a small paragraph about the book as well. The story starts by ... more

    Dinosaurs in Underpants by Claire Freeman Dinosaurs in underpants by Claire freeman Is a follow on form the award winning Aliens wear underpants. This is a book I had heard many positive things about. The other day I reviewed Aliens that love underpants save the world. My son picked this out at the library with another of the sequels to the first book which I was quite disappointed in.     Advantages Advantages rhyme is so well done, lots of humour, fantastic images

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Dinosaur names are tricky for early readers to tackle independently.

    My sons are aged 4 and 6, and at that age where things that are about bodily functions or remind them of the body are highly hilarious. We have copies of Aliens Love Underpants, and the Christmas version of this book, so when we saw Dinosaurs love Underpants at the library, then it had to come home with us. Dinosaurs are our current obsession, having attended Walking With Dinosaurs a few weeks ago, so a lot of our loans fit into that theme. The cover to this looks highly comical.     My daughter brings a book home from school every week and over the half term we have been reading this book literally everyday! The book is written by Claire Freedman who seems to write alot of books about underpants and illustrated by Ben Cort, the RRP is £5.99 however you can pick it up for £3 from Amazon at the moment. The front cover of the book shows a big blue dinosaur wearing a big pair of underpants and been ridden by a caveman, the caveman and the dinosaur both look friendly and happy.     Claire Freedman & Ben Cort have really created a jaunty fun rythmic book, with a great flow and still managing to be educational! I have to say, I really like this book! It was first published in 2008 by Simon Schuster UK Ltd.
