Average cost - but you get what you pay for.

Direct Line rescue are admittedly my first rescue company, although I would happily recommend them to anyone. I had to shop around and although I have since changed, this was merely because I couldn't afford to keep up the payments. I am not complaining, if I could afford to go with Direct Line...

Avoid! As a female traveller with a 5 year old it took FIVE HOURS from my initial call to directline breakdown hotline until recovery! We were stranded in the dark on a busy dual carriageway! They are incompetent, offered none of the options that they promise such as hire car for 24 hours, b&b accommodation, telephone calls to family/friends etc etc even though I have recovery plus. Shocking service and dangerous.

Was happy with service over 14 year period.

Can't be trusted.

After 14 years with Direct Line I have just cancelled my Motor Insurance policy. The renewal notice I received showed a year on year increase of 20%. On challenging this I was offered a small reduction (??) bringing the annual increase down to 14%! I found this totally unacceptable and informed...
