Opinion on Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners seems to vary dramatically, it would seem people either love them or hate them (a bit like Marmite but with more suction power!) We bought the Dirt Devil DD2420 for about £28 in our local supermarket. Our old vacuum cleaner had died, and having a small flat with almost no storage space we wanted power but not size.
