Synopsis
The Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack pick up a temporal disturbance (or rather the Tardis does) so they head for home, where they arrive on modern-day Earth and find that somebody is interfering with time. So they set out to find the perpetrators.
But what they find is, well. A Neanderthal Man. Who is twenty-eight thousand years out of his time.
So they set off on a trip back to the primeval ... ...The story features:
The Doctor - Christopher Eccleston.
Rose - Billie Piper.
Captain Jack - John Barrowman.
The Hy-Bractors - as themselves.

This is in the category of "Beach book", you can pick it up, put it down or fall asleep and next time you delve into the story there will be no problem picking up the thread.
Aimed at a readership of 6 to 60, the dialogue is clear, concise, uncontroversial and bland.

This is a typical Dr Who yarn and follows the Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack on yet another adventure.
The Tardis picks up a temporal disturbance back on Earth. Once there they discover that time is being played with things are being brought forwards and something's sent backwards in time.
The first thing they find or should that be the first someone is a Neanderthal Man! He has been brought forward ... ...evil Hy-Bractors and soon the Doctor is up to his old tricks. Whilst Captain (indestructible) Jack is using himself as bait. Rose meanwhile is about to open the grey door, she should leave it alone!
Will this adventure prove too much for the Doctor? Are you kidding? This is a typical Doctor Who paperback with great writing and the usual plot. The plot does actually move along quite quickly but all in all the book holds no surprises. It is just a ...
