Do I love Doctor Who? Yes! Am I a Big Kid? Yes! So I think it's clear to say that when a younger neighbour of mine passed me down her Tardis Playset she no longer wanted, I was overjoyed! Okay, I had no intention paying the average £20 for the playset brand new from the shops, and as this one was in perfect condition anyway, I was most pleased!

Fans of The Doctor will recognise the quote from the first series, but please warn your children that this play set is not, in fact, capable of time travel, because except for its size this replica set appears authentic in every other way - right down to the hat & coat stand.
The Tardis playset arrives boxed and will take you lots of time to set up. We'd been pre-warned of its intricate assembly requirements and so we set aside plenty of ... ...inside the Tardis, just whichever Doctor your child prefers, and Rose of course. My boys pretend they don't like girls but I think are secretly in love with Rose. I haven't seen any of the new series figures yet, but I'm sure there out there! The figures are around £6.99 each, so when you add this to the cost of the playset this toy isn't cheap, but I think it gives lots of play value. We happily paid £39 for it before Christmas, but I've seen better ...
