Compelling pre-sales,efficient product delivery,after sales a disaster.Bathroom and wet room installed,2 leaks in warranty brought down 2 ceilings - major restoration to living rooms etc. Dolphin took no responsibility ,blamed rodent damage.This despite witnesses seeing a knife slit in one pipe-pipe removed by Dolphin,subsequently disappeared. Latest leak -just outside warranty period,a joint has pulled apart.The rodents are getting very tricky. Other problems-wet room floor doesn't drain to outlet,water ponds against walls.dripping shower,knocking pipes ,old pipework left attached to external walls,holes where old pipes removed not made good. Having worked as a Dolphin Bathroom Designer I would strongly recommend customers not to buy them. My training lasted a week and involved very little input on how to design a bathroom. It included how to con customers and earn money. My boss told me to quote customers as much as I thought they would pay! Hi I am constantly surprised how Dolphin Bathrooms continue to trade with non-existant customer care, quality fitters or salesmen who know what they are doing... I used to work for Dolphin as a technical surveyor and see first hand the mess some salesmen design and pass off as good design.. at best these designs would be classed as nieve, at worst a blatent attempt at miss-selling and conning customers. If you are thinking about having a bathroom installed get it completed by a company who cares about its reputation and lives off its recommendations. I have to agree, I was a Dolphin fitter, the training they use for the fitters are rubbish, it lasts 2 days, to see if you can do a little plastering, tiling and plumbing. If you practice a week before you go there they will pass you and put you out to a job the week later to install a bathroom they sold to a customer for around 10 15k. Stick with smaller more caring bathroom companies. ...

A 4 day job took 9 1/2 weeks - the first fitter was incompetent (and used a couple of unskilled imigrants to do the work) he dissapearded off site every day, and when he did visit the site drank beer (and left the empty cans in the bin). Things leaked (which they at first blamed on me?) my new kitchen had to be redecorated (after the flood), and they made a hole in the ceiling to fix the poor pipework they had installed (which had to be replastered), ...
...- as they used them to mop up leaks. My house was filthy throughout. I had rubbish dumped in my front garden, I had drinks spilt on the carpets, they scrapped things along walls, which had to be repainted. The new partition wall was not in the correct place, the doorway was the wrong width, and when they came to take it down, it hadn't had any battons put in it - so it was not structurally sound. The first installation was a mess and didn't work ...

DO NOT GO FOR THEM. Rubbish service. Nice and sweet on the phone when booking an appointment for a designer to come out. And that's where it ends , I am afraid!! The designer comes in, and promises you to give you an estimate in few days times. Non of that take place! After over two weeks not heard from them I chased them up three times. all i got was an appology and " IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH US, IT'S THE DESIGNER WHO CAME OUT TO YOU, WE WILL CHASE THAT UP AND GET BACK TO U" . I used to work for Dolphin Bathrooms in the customer services office. I could write a book about how they rip people off and their own staff aswell. The reviews I have read are nothing compared with some problems I had to try and sort out. Beware of office managers promising things..they are full of crap and you won't get what you have been promised. Their famous words are, "Leave it with me!".
