Double Trouble for the Dragon Slayer

AdvantagesAction packed, fast paced, thriller of a read

DisadvantagesYou wont be able to put it down!

"...basically thrust upon us in Double Cross though (though under the surface but still quite obvious) means we don't spend the rest of the book guessing as to who it could be but instead marvel at the audacity of the Audience Killer when in general, day to day 'communications' with Alex and him completely unaware of who this person really is (and no I'm obviously not going to tell you who it is!). Other than this slight difference thought Double Cross ..." Read review

Manhunt

AdvantagesEasy to read

"Double Cross is part of the Alex Cross series of books by James Patterson which started off several years ago with Cat and Mouse. == Synopsis == Alex has given up consulting for the FBI, and moved back into private practise. He hasnt cut all ties with the police though, because hes still dating Bree (Brianna Stone) whos a senior homicide detective, and of course his best friend is John Sampson, also a detective. Whilst on a weekend camp with ..." Read review

Nothing to get Cross about with this fab read from Patterson

AdvantagesGreat Read

Disadvantages-

"...from one character/situation with ease. Ok Double Cross follow up to the equally brilliant Cross. The main character is the lovely Detective Alex Cross (played by Morgan Freeman in the film adapation of the novel Kiss the Girls). You warm to Cross in the earlier novels when you learn that the love of his life, wife Maria was murdered and he was left alone to raise their children. He lives with his grandmother (referred to in the books as Nana ..." Read review

Patterson Double Crosses readers for the last time!

AdvantagesA f ast paced thriller.

DisadvantagesToo similar to other crime/thriller novelists around at the moment.

"For the past five years, I've been avidly reading all the Alex Cross novels by James Patterson, and this has been the first one I've been disappointed in. Don't get me wrong, it is a riveting tale, and would probably interest most people, but for someone who has read Pattersons' previous work, the book lacks the passion that Along Came a Spider, and Kiss the Girls had. I found the characters to be two dimensional, and the plot was not very developed. ..." Read review
