There's Twice The Sex In Every Tub

Advantages: Easily absorbed and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky
Disadvantages: The prefume isn't too good,

...The tub of Dove Body Silk, that my mum had given me, was standing prominently on the shelf and I wondered if I should try it or not. I decided I had better as I knew my mum would be asking if I had liked it. I would have much preferred to use my regular moisturiser, which certainly looks more appealing, but then I thought, 'It'll do for another Ciao opinion!'. I smiled to myself about what my BoyFriend would say if he knew what I would do for one ...
..."Yikes!", I thought, "This Dove stuff must be good". It usually takes a few alcoholic beverages to loosen his tongue, in more ways than one. The good old English reserve is steeped in his bones, but a few drinks and he's a changed man. I reached across to make a note of this on my pad, which I keep by the bed, and he started to caress my back. "What again!", I asked. Action ... Fade ... Cut. The next day I was at mum's house and we talked about ...

Gorgeously soft skin in an instant

Advantages: absorbs quickly, softens skin, smells lovely
Disadvantages: none

...I first came across Dove Body Silk whilst looking in Boots for another moisturiser to try. I like the packaging which is a medium sized white round tub with the Dove logo on it in blue. I quite liked the fact the tub was round rather than a tall bottle as it\'s easier to store. The product costs £5.99 for 300ml. Personaly i think that price is really good as a little really does go a long way and it lasts ages. Being in a tub you can also get all ...
...since using this. I\'ve used Dove Body Silk for 2 years now and wouldn\'t even consider using something else. Even my boyfriend has noticed the difference and now often compliments me on how soft my skin is. Its also great for keeping your heels soft as this is where hard skin is most likely to appear, and in the summer when your wearing strappy sandals it\'s the last thing you want on show. Dove have also got this product in a different colour ...

Dove Body Silk

Advantages: Smell, packaging, moisturisor itself
Disadvantages: Perhaps a bit pricey just for a body cream?

Dove Body Silk is a fantastic moituriser which is far more luxurious than your bog standard body lotion. It's very thick and creamy, and seems to melt into your skin like ice cream rather than being thin and runny like a lot of lotions on the market. It comes in a tub, as opposed to a bottle, so you scoop out the contents, which I think is fab! The packagine of Dove Body Silk is, like the rest of the range, simple but stylish. The 300ml tub is curved, ...
...blue italics. It also carried a picture of a gold dove, which I like is quie classy! It has a screw lid, and you use your fingers to take out the moistuiser as you want it, so there is no danger of squeezing out too much and losing it. The downside of this however is that it can be a bit messy, but not that badly. The cream itself, as I said is very thick and white, and its effects are amazing. It is quickly absobred into the skin, so it is easy ...

A silky body anyone?

Advantages: makes skin soft
Disadvantages: awkward pot

...of beauty products and this Dove Body Silk is amongst them. I bought it as i wanted to give it a go, I get on very well with the Dove deoderant and the Dove soaps and so I thought I may as well give this moisturiser a go too seeing as it's cheaper than the brands I usually buy. Using the cream is very easy, it's a simple rub in cream but it does take longer than my other creams to absorb. My hands feel like they need a good wash afterwards else ...
...body is all soft and hydrated so i can see where they got the name-body silk- from! After I've applied it I do think that my skin is well nourished from using it although sometimes I don't think it's quite as effective as my other moisturisers really. What I don't like is the pot. I think it's pretty bland to look at and also the lid is really quite annoying. It's so wide that it's difficult to get off when you have wet hands which I usually do when ...

Silky Silky!

Advantages: Leaves your skin soft, silky & moisturised, absorbs well, pleasant smell
Disadvantages: None

Dove is such a popular and prestigious brand that you can't really seem to go wrong with them, and Body Silk is no exception. -...:: The Good Stuff ::...- Having quite sensitive skin, I wanted a cream that would be kind on my face and body and would leave my skin feeling smooth and soft. I came across Dove Body Silk when it was on offer in Savers (£1.99) which was a bargain. It can be bought at the moment in superdrug for under £5 and you get 300ml ...
...a tub so there's no squeezing out of bottles getting messy, and it glides on your skin effortlessly. There's no greasy feel after it's on your skin, it just sinks in nicely. It also has a pleasant smell, nothing too strong but just slightly fragranced. I've been using this tub of silky soft goodness for a few months now and still have plenty left. You'll find you wont need much for it to leave your skin moisturised. -...:: The Not So Good Stuff ::...- ...

Why have cotton...

Advantages: Lovely soft skin
Disadvantages: Price

...was recently pursuaded to try Dove Body Silk after seeing it recommended in a magazine among a group of other moisturisers, all of which were over £20. So I toddled off to Boots to look for some, and saw it for £5.99 for 300ml. Being a cheapskate, I also looked in my local Bodycare and saw it for £3.39 which I was more than chuffed about! I love the pot this product comes in! There is nothing more luxurious that putting your hand in a big pot of ...
...like all of the other Dove products, which I think is a bit old fashioned. After my bath I smoothed this on and was chuffed with the result. My skin absorbed it very easily and I was left feeling totally pampered. I even got complimented on my smooth skin later! I would recommend buying this product because it is luxurious and not too expensive, especially if you use it as a treat like I do (I like Dove Body Moisturiser for everyday). A lovely product ...

Review of Dove Body Silk

Dove Body Silk is the best moisturizer I have ever used.

Advantages: Great moisturizer feels like silk
Disadvantages: none

I first got Dove Body Silk while on a Pilgramage in Medjugorje, Bosnia Hercegovina. I was looking for a good moisturizer and found that the Dove Body Silk was the best' I had ever used. The problem is that it isn't available in Canada or the United States as far as I know. When someone is going to Europe I try and get them to bring me some back as I find it hard not to have it. I have always loved the products Dove make and I regularly use their ...

Dove Body Silk

Advantages: Leaves your body feeling like silk.
Disadvantages: Bit pricey, but worth every penny.

...a new product in the Dove range, which when it first came onto the shelves I thought was a little pricey for what it was, but I managed to get some from the local chemist for half price. This cream is brilliant for dry skin, especially on the knee's and elbows, and as per usual Dove truely does moisturise your skin, and your skin does end up feeling like silk. The smell of the cream is just like the foam bath and body wash which I love, it's brilliant ...
...tube it comes in is unusual for a body cream, and it looks like a tube of facial cream, so it looks very attractive on your dressing table. The cream is easily absorbed and does not leave the skin greasy like some body creams can, and you can see the difference in your skin a few days after use, I use it on my knee's and elbows especially where I tend to get really dry skin, and there is not a patch of dry skin in sight now, another good product ...
