I have very dry skin and often suffer with flaky patches, especially during the cold winter months. I have tried numerous moisturising creams, some with better results than others. However I have recently found a cream that I think is amazing; Dr Hauschka’s Rose day cream. As a lot of you may remember I have a big problem with my face, the skin is dry on my cheeks making it difficult for any make up to stay on and I haven't found a real solution as yet. A friend recommended this but reading up on it, it's mainly aimed at 'mature' skin. Even though I'm only 19 but skins pretty bad so I thought what could go wrong now so I may as well try some. The review that follows is based on my personal use of one 30ml size tube of this cream. My skin type is normal, prone to greasiness than dryness. I also get the occasional spot. PROS Dr Hauschka's Rose Day cream is an excellent moisturizer with a thick, heavy scent of roses. The scent is quite strong and I loved it but if for any reason you don't like the smell of roses, this cream is not for you. I have recently started using Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream and I can honestly say it's the best cream I've ever used. I'm 53 years old and my skin is quite sensitive. I'm prone to blotchiness and can be quite uneven in colour and texture, but with this product I'm transformed! Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream is totally natural and recommended for sensitive, dry, mature skin conditions (that's me!) and is also helpful for those prone to redness and thread veins (me again!) Dr. Hauschka's Rose Day Cream is something of an enigma. Never have I seen such hype surrounding such a basic cream. Although it's a lovely cream which smells great and does impart a nice glow to the skin it is only best suited to very dry skin. The down side of this product is that it is very greasy and does not absorb into the skin very well hence making it a terrible base for make-up. As I said it's not that the cream is not nice but it is not a high performance cream and has created a huge fan base because of the extensive press it receives (because Madonna has used it!).
