Caring for baby bums.

Advantagesreduces soreness

Disadvantageschilly.

"...is easier to apply because Drapolene is a touch too thin I think - harder to make a good layer of it. My conclusion is if you are just starting out and want to avoid your child getting nappy rash, use Sudo cream. If that doesn't work, or nappy rash has already developped, get in some Drapolene. Drapolene can, according to the pot, be used for urinary dermititus in adults, and is actually very good for minor burns - which are much the same ..." Read review

DR APOLENE good for nappy rash!

Advantageseasily applied, helps nappy rash, large tub.

Disadvantagesdoesn`t smell too pleasent

"...the tub is the word drapolene with a pink circle round it and it says antiseptic cream. On the back there is a description of what it is for, directions of use, usual warnings such as side effects and when not to use it and what is in drapolene cream. ***** The cream ***** When you open this cream the first thing that hits you is the smell, it is very strong and it is smells like a hospital does, I am sure you all know what I mean. Then ..." Read review

Sore bum no more!

AdvantagesSoothing, works fast

DisadvantagesPossibly medical smell could bother people

"...is a pink cream. Drapolene is fairly thick, and is less sticky and greasy than other nappy creams like sudocrem. It has a fairly medical smell - not unpleasant though... The smell normally gives me more confidence in its healing ability. After cleaning your little one, and making sure they are completely dry (preferably by letting them run round and getting the air at their bum), you rub the cream into the affected areas - I make sure there is ..." The BEST for nappy rash and so much more

AdvantagesQuick, effective, versatile

DisadvantagesNone

"I have been lucky in that both my sons have rarely suffered with nappy rash, except when teething or ill. But when they did get it.... boy was it bad. I tried every cream on the market - especially those pushed at you in the baby freebie packs - but to no avail and I was beginning to despair. And then I discovered Drapolene. Such an excellent cream. It has never taken more than 24 hours to clear up even the worst nappy rash, even after a very ..." Read review

Come on my Miracle

AdvantagesCures Quickly, Spreeds easily unlike sudo and it works

DisadvantagesPrice a little steep

"...the person at Boots recommended Drapolene antiseptic cream so I thought here goes something else to try and guess what it worked within 2 days it had practically cleared it up to the point you wouldn’t of known that she did have nappy rash to the point it was bleeding wow I thought I would never use anything else, and I only use it now unlike sudo cream I only need to use it when there’s a slight sign of redness straight on and by the next day its ..." Quick review of Drapolene Cream

"I have to say, as well as nappy rash, Drapolene is marvellous on sunburnt skin! Rub some in a couple of hours before you go to bed, and hey presto, beautiful soft, sore free skin in the morning! But thats not its only use! I used to suffer bad exzema and dermatitis and you know something? I've been clear of both those conditions for ages; after using drapolene for a couple of weeks it never came back! So thanks to the people who make it, i'm never without a tub!

THATS BETTER

Advantageshelps sore bums feel better

DisadvantagesNONE

"...and creams I picked up drapolene from the chemists shelf residing myself to the fact that I would probably be back to get a diffrent brand the next day. How wrong could I have been... The cream was easy to apply and smelt pleasent enough althoughvery cool to the touch.. by the next nappy cange the weeping and bleeding had stopped... the one after that the soreness had eased and within twenty four hours by daughters bottom was back to normal ..." Absolutely Wonderful Say Goodbye to Nappy Rash

Advantagesavailable in Boots, Chemists but not supermarkets

Disadvantagesnot one single one

"...who told me to use Drapolene (which is also good for minor burns). SI went to our local chemist and started using Drapolene- a pleasant, not greasy, but light, pink cream, in a simple white pot (with navy blue logo lettering and pink background). Applying the cream did not seem to sting- there was no crying or sobbing but there was the reaction as if to say the cream is cold. Within 2 days I noticed an improvement. The redness vanished. And she has ..." Read review

I tried the rest

AdvantagesIt Works, great price, easy to apply

DisadvantagesA bit on the smelly side

"Well having tried just about every nappy rash cream on the market I gave this a go on the recommendation of my mum. It has the smell, colour and consistency of Germolene and you know I finally found a nappy rash cream that actually works. I applied it at every change, with a more liberal application after the bath, in anticipation for bedtime. Only two days and hey presto no nappy rash. I prefer this to others on the market such as sudocrem, ..." Read review
