Advantages Advantages Really easy to read, good quality pages, difficult to rip, lots of lovely pictures

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some repetition

This is my first ever book review, and some constructive critism on how to improve would be greatly appreciated. This Christmas I was extremely lucky when it came to presents, receiving some absolutely splendid presents. Among the various books I received, there was a definite favourite of mine. One of the favourites I received was the new Girls Aloud Autobiography: Dreams That Glitter. Girls Aloud (Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberly Walsh), are definitely my favourite girl group, perhaps of all time, and I have followed them through their journey, or what you ... more

    Advantages Advantages Interesting , Genuine

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None!

Ever since I heard Girls Aloud were going to release an autobiography styled book , I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Although priced at £14.99 , I didn't really want to fork out that much cash on something that would probably be down to half price in a month or so. So , I decided I would wait a few weeks before purchasing the book. However as I had been going on about how much I wanted this book for so long , my sister kindly bought it me for Christmas! I was so excited when I unwrapped the gift paper and discovered it! I immediately began reading it and within two or three days , the ... more

Advantages Advantages Fun to read, lots of pictures, good quality book

Disadvantages Disadvantages None unless you don't like Girls Aloud

I am a pretty big Girls Aloud fan, and I'm not bothered about admitting it either! I've been to see them in concert, I have their albums and a few DVDs, and I was thrilled last week to win 2 tickets to go to the recording of their Christmas special at ITV studios...roll on 2nd December, I'm so excited!! Anyway, so when I saw they were releasing a book detailing the making of the band and their life up until mid-2008, I knew it would be a book that I was going to read. I managed to get a copy from the library last week, and sat down to read excitedly, and I just couldn't put it down, finished ... more

Advantages Advantages Get to know more about the group

Disadvantages Disadvantages Perhaps not aimed at men to read

Dreams that Glitter – our Story – Girls Aloud..... I have never really been a massive fan of Girls Aloud, I mean I have liked their music and of course followed them through the stages of the TV show Pop Stars the Rivals but I had never liked them enough to go out and buy a CD of theirs. However, I have been very much getting into reading auta lot of auto biographies and biographies in the last few years and so when I saw this is Woolworth's (RIP) for less than £10 I snapped it up. The RRP of this book is £14.99 pence and both this price and the price I paid are,I feel, reasonable amounts for ... more
