...recommended a product called Driclor. Driclor is a roll on product made up of aluminium chloride available from the chemists and can be bought off the shelf without prescription or online if you feel uncomfortable or embarrassed buying it (quick and easy) and it costs between £3.99 and £5.99 for a 20ml bottle (cheap) That's all but one box ticked…unfortunately the painless box gets a resounding cross! (Sorry if I've spoiled the ending for you now!)

...away.
I brought my bottle of Driclor in Boots and it cost me £5.99 for a 20ml bottle. This might sound expensive but as it is in effect a roll on deodorant of sorts, this bottle should last quite a long time. This leads me to the first gripe I have though. When you open the box it comes in, you will find that you have to actually put the bottle together. They supply you with the bottle of deodorant with a lid on it and then the roller ball separately. ...

Advantages: Extremely effective at combating excessive perspiration. Disadvantages: May cause skin irritation.
...day.
At first, you should use Driclor at night, until sweating stops during the day. You may then find you can cut down its use to twice weekly, then to once weekly, and very possibly less often.
I am now at a point where I only need to apply it once every 4 weeks, so apart from working like a dream, it is also very economical.
Perhaps you are now thinking this sounds too good to be true?
All I can say is it has freed me from embarrassingly wet ...

My experience:
Putting Driclor on the first night, everything seemed fine, until about half an hour later when my skin was itching and burning quite painfully. In the end i couldnt help but scratch it a little and the itching kept me awake for most of the night. Now here is the important bit, where i beleive i went wrong - DO NOT use too much of this product. Apply very sparingly to the centre of the underarm. One or ...

...gave me a prescription for Driclor (I had never heard of it before). I promptly went to the chemist, who told me you can buy this over the counter at £4.99. Better than £7!!
I was quite excited to get in that night and try it hoping that after reading other stories, this would be the cure I was looking for. Along came bed time and I washed carefully so as not to scratch myself, and applied some Driclor under each arm, being careful not to use too ...

...a considerable amount.
To use driclor it says to wash under your arms before going to bed, this is because you supposedly dont sweat as much during the night while you are asleep. Once you wash under your arms it instructs you to dry yourself thoroughly. Then apply the driclor to your underarms. Go to bed and have a shower in the morning to wash it off.
Unfortunately i found that once i applied the driclor it took ages to dry and after a while ...

...have been an user of Driclor for some months, and I find it a life-changer! A bold claim for a small roll-on? But it is true. This little bottle (roughly £12 for a triple pack) has changed my life.
I have tried every deodorant and antiperspirant on the market but to no avail. Still massive sweat marks under my arms even when sitting down exerting no energy. I was very self-conscious of my 'sweat pits'. A friend of mine was talking about Driclor ...

I got this product from boots on recomendation from a friend. She had been told to get it when she went to the doctors about her problem. I do recomend it for those who want to go out and not have to panic about getting sweat patches.
The price
From boots this cost about £6 the bottle looks a little small at 20ml. But it is worth the investment. A bottel of this tends to last months if it is only used occasionaly.
Does it work?

...a night and reapplyed the Driclor on the next night. I was in excessive amounts of pain, my armpits were stinging and on fire!!! I didn't understand why the situation was different. So i thought it over and realised it was because i had shaved my armpits in the morning. So any women thinking of using Driclor, do not, i repeat do not, apply it the night of a day when you have shaved your under arms!
I started to ffeel the effects of the Driclor ...

...going through the menopause and Driclor even stops this sweating under the arms. Yes it's true you do get quite a severe tingle but hey no pain no gain. I seriously reccommend you try this please bare with the tingling because the results will be well worth it. I can now wear clothes other than black hooray.

...day and i stopped using driclor till it cleared up which took about 4 days. But the sweating thank God stopped! Now i apply a LITTLE driclor only in the middle of my arm pit once a week, that way it does not itch, does not go red and i can sleep like a baby yet my sweating problem has finally vanished!
My conclusion to all this is. Use just a little especially the first few nights. As soon as you stop sweating cut down the times you use it a week ...

UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!
If you have a problem with sweat patches you have to use this stuff! I never normally write reviews on anything but feel i had to on this Driclor!
I read all the reviews as you are now and thought, there's no way i can be sorted. Since my teens i've always suffered from sweat patches under my arms, even if the rest of my body was freezing i would still manage to have sweat patches, i had drawers full of white t'shirts and could ...

...when my doctor recommended using Driclor I thought my prayers had been answered.
I got this deodorant on prescription but I think it costs around £6-£7 for a smaller than average size bottle of deodorant. The deodorant is applied at night to clean dry arm pits, but not on the same day as you have shaved. Always apply on days where you haven't just shaved under your arms (if this is the area for the deodrant to be applied). The deodorant is then ...

Advantages: No more clammy hands! Disadvantages: Can sting in the mornings for a minute or so
I have been having problems with my hands, in that they were ALWAYS REALLY clammy and sweaty, horrible! I had to always hide my hands away, and make sure noone touched them! It was really embarrising. I decided enough was enough! I went to the Asda pharmacist, and asked if there was anything that could help me with this. They reccommended this stuff, though they said it wasn't designed for hands, but I decided to try it anyway, and I am really glad ...
