Advantages: Suction, ease of use Disadvantages: None
I recently damaged my Dyson DC 04. We had it 8 years and I must admit that I hadn't been very gentle with it. It was quite heavy and used to find it quite difficult carrying it up and down the stairs and often banged it against the wall or the banister. A few bits had broken off it, and, to top it all off I dropped it down the stairs. I did manage to get the hose bit working but unfortunately it wouldn't work when it was upright. So, the time had ... ...visited Dyson, I had a Dyson before and I knew that they were good so I looked at their cylinder models. I finally made my mind up after reading a few reviews, looking at power, suction etc. I was going for a Dyson. Then I had to decide which Dyson I wanted. The 'DC 20,21,22 and 23' versions seemed like a lot of hassle, it looked neat and like it was quite compact and easy to store, but, I'd have to unwind the hose and pull out the tubes every time ...

Advantages: Practical, great suction, Improves air quality. Disadvantages: Expensive replacement or additional tools.
...liked the look of the Dyson Ball vacuum that had been advertised a lot on the TV I decided to go for something more compact and light that could get into tight spaces. The DC-19 Allergy was the right vacuum for the job. I got an absolute bargain when I purchased this Dyson for just £154.94 a few months ago as it was listed almost everywhere on the Internet for in excess of £200 so I was delighted when it became available for a discounted price on ... ...wasn’t let down by this Dyson (The dimensions are only 34.5cm x 28.2cm x 43.4cm H x W x D). The biggest let-down on many vacuum cleaners on the market is that they hardly ever have a decent home for the hose and extension. My previous vacuum cleaner ended up suffering damage to the hose because it always had to be stuffed into the cupboard dangling alongside the base without anything to secure it in place. Things then got piled on top of it and caused ...

...I happened to see a Dyson DC 19 on sale for £130 and decided that I was in need of a new vacuum cleanert. I have heard so much about how good the Dyson is so decided to buy it. The DC19 is a 1400 watt vacuum that gives an air wattage of 280 watts. It is quite light in weight at 17.75lbs and easily be carried up and down stairs. It is also bagless (hooray!!) It has telescopic aluminium extension tubes and a stretch hose. There is storage on the vacuum ... ...by the British Allergy Foundation. Dyson also offer an online facility where you can find solutions to any faults that you may find with the DC 19. To date, though, I have not had to use this facility. The suction power of the DC19 is excellent. This is evidenced by the staggering amount of debris that can be viewed in the see through container. To empty the container is simple. It can also be wiped easily with a damp cloth. The DC19 is easily manoeuvrable. ...

Advantages: All you could want from a vacuum cleaner Disadvantages: Not a relevant question!
I LOVE my Dyson DC19! I paid £119.99 from LX Direct and I have also seen this great price in my local Sainsburys so it pays to shop around.
This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and I have owned MANY ( cats, dog, kids, big house, cars etc), any cleaner in this house is bound to take a bashing and I usually find that the brushes fall apart, or the hoses split and it ends up looking like a comedy of errors held together with duct ... ...go in there with the Dyson and come out with a full tank!
Being able to strip it down and wash all the bits is great, as pet hair and accidently vacuuming over something wet can make the inside STINK in any cleaner, but thats not an issue here as I strip it down and put all the removable parts in the dishwasher.
I havent had to buy new fliters yet as these are very durable and can just be hand washed in the sink, so again another saving compared ...

Advantages: Great sucking power, easy to use, easy to put away Disadvantages: Not easy to store, specific storing method!
This is quite a popular vacuum as a lot of people i know have this particular one!!! One feature i hate, always will and always have is the storage method!!! you basically roll the vacuum head into a little concave indent! This means you also have to have the specific head on it!!! You cant stow it away with any other head except the man one! Even then it is so large to put into a cupboard or something! However it is relatively simple to use! Great ... ...is great and it has a cable retraction button so you don't have to worry about winding it up! Its not the best of the Dysons we have had but it certainly isn't the worst! I received this vacuum relatively cheap, i think i secured it for around £120! It is great at cleaning, my favourite ...

...beds. Like other Dyson cleaners, it is bagless and easy to empty. Tapping the clear cannister seems to remove most of the dirt that has been collected. More stubborn marks can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth.
The DC19 also has a five year guarantee and unlike many brands, Dyson provides a user friendly online facility which helps solve simple fault-finding issues that can arise. Despite the cleaner's many positive features, it does have some ... ...shocks, I called out a Dyson engineer (who visited free of charge) to take a look at my machine. But he was unable to identify any particular problem. Despite these minor flaws I highly recommend the DC19. It's a quiet, good-looking machine that does the job.

...hoover (and I assume any Dyson product) is a 5 year guarantee on the machine and all its parts. I simply had to fill in a short form on their website to be covered, and as long as I keep the receipt they promise to get an engineer to me within three days should anything go wrong, I must say this has given me great piece of mind.
So to sum up I would definitely recommend this hoover to anyone looking to buy one and here's hoping I get many years ...

Advantages: strong suction power, removes ingrained dirt and dust, easy to use, host of tools Disadvantages: flawless
Dyson hoovers have always been a favourite of mine throughout my adult life. My first DC01 cost well over £200 and the DC08 that replaced it was just a shade under £200 so when it came to finding another replacement after 2 years of very faithful service and great suction I was impressed to find the DC19 on offer for only £139.99 from Dixons. Other makes or models were not an option as I am firmly a believer that Dyson make the best hoovers around ... ...model of the now famous Dyson cyclone technology which makes it easier to move around and much lighter than earlier models, yet it retains the standard 1400 watt motor that gives an air wattage of 280 watts. The higher the air wattage, the more likely the hoover is to remove even the most stubborn ingrained dirt and dust. Quoting such statistics is all very well and good, but in real terms this sort of power is nothing short of amazing. Being a regular ...

Advantages: Brilliant design, Excellent suction, Well-built Disadvantages: If I have to list one... No Turbine Head tool included
This is my second Dyson vacuum, which says a lot in itself!
I have owned an alternative "bagless cyclone" vacuum, but found that none compare to the suction power of a Dyson. Just like they say on their advert, if you want something like a Dyson, get a Dyson.
It certainly costs more than most vacuums, but the 5-year warranty included probably makes it worthwhile (in addition to the tremendous suction power).
The good quality design continues to ... ...so will slide under almost any furniture that has a 2-inch ground clearance. Other furniture tools are standard fare, and now attach to the vacuum body (rather than as previously on the hose). The tube extends easily, without needing to be separated into 2 sections like most cylinder vacuums, which is a nice touch; it also has a sturdier feel to it than most modern equivalents.
One thing I would like to see included is the Turbine Head (which is ...

Quick review of Dyson DC19
Having previously owned Samsung, Goblin, Miele and LG vacuum cleaners I decided it was time to step up to a Dyson.
I opted for the DC19 Precision. The build quality is superb, it's reasonably quiet and it sucks like no other! I vacuumed a carpet that we thought was clean, you should see how much detritous was in the dust tank, I couldn't believe there was this much rubbish in our carpets!
I purchased mine from Discount Electricals.com, it was £85, although it is a Dyson refurbished model, it came in a tatty Dyson box but the machine looks brand new, correctly packed and unmarked. Standard Dyson products carry a five year warranty, refurbs only a two year warranty, but, hey, at this price who cares?
A brilliant machine, well recommended, should have bought one years ago, I'm a Dyson convert now.............................. ...

Quick review of Dyson DC19
Over four years old, mine has fared well, the only breakage being the fastening clip on the bottom of the long tube and a split in the cable by the plug. The former isn't vital - suction holds the brush head on. The cable was fixed by cutting and a replacement plug. It's light and easy to use especially on stairs. Suction is very good and it gets 98% of cat hairs out of old carpets Gripes: The turbo brush head needs disassembly and de-furring every month - only four screws but lots of awkward fur traps inside. The hose-mounted accessory holder doesn't hold. if you have a large house and pets you will probably need a model with a bigger bowl. ...

Advantages: compact, easy to store and use Disadvantages: wire doesnt always retract, gets a litlle too warm
I have had this cleaner for quite a while now and not had too many problems with it, but this is what I liked and what I didnt like.
I paid £220 GBP from an independent local retailer.
I love the extendable tube as I am very tall and my wife is quite short and it extends with just a simple push and pull on the centre collar. The size of the body is perfect for my home as it is very easy to store away and space is at a premium here. On the main ... ...changing between 2 surface types, carpet and laminate/vinyl, I have a range of surfaces that change frequently throughout my house so this is very handy. You also get some extra heads for use on fabrics etc, these came on a clip that attach's to the hose but they kept falling off or getting in the way so I stored them seperately. The cylinder removal is very easy and saves you getting covered in dust when emptying out as the entire unit comes away ...

Advantages: dyson bagless 'concept' is fantastic Disadvantages: overly complicated design and peripheries - doesn't do what it says on the tin
The bagless concept by Dyson is fantastic the concept works - it cleans, maintains suction, and there are no bags cannot fault it. however, never in the field of human endeavour has something been so over-designed to the detriment of function. each small design feature, piece of plastic, notch and cover no doubt works well.
