A great hoover that will not disappoint its owner, this one has good suction and provides an extra distance for the user to move about due to its extremely long cord. Very easy to set up with its locking mechanism. Despite all the good functions there is one feature that is a problem, the dettachable handle that is used to suck up dust in narrow areas fails to do so because of its awkward shape. Other than that this hoover is an extremely good one and should meet the tight budgets of many houseowners.

Disadvantages: I can't get on with the angled crevice tool

...started out with the original Dyson DC01 but I was always convinced mine wasn't as powerful as my mums and didn't remove dog hair very well. After owning two much earlier dyson models (DC01 and DC02 absolute) I have to admit I am already a fan of dysons, but although they are still going strong they were unable to cope with the arrival of four houserabbits plus the fur they shed. Dyson DC 14 an Upright vacuum cleaner. This is my second Dyson I had previously owned the DC07. I chose this one really because it was in the SALE but it has proved exceptional. Again Dyson hoovers are heavy and bulky but I like the finish it gives to the carpets, it makes them look new and gives them a kind of fresh look. ...I returned with the new Dyson and decided to give it a whirl. You would have thought I had never vacuumed my home with the amount of dirt and dust collected. I am absolutely in love with my Dyson, it is well worth every penny! I can do the stairs without lifting the vacuum, and when I do have to lift it is very very lightweight! Advantages: Amazing with dog hair, powerful, makes carpets look new.
Disadvantages: Heavy, clumsy.

I bought this hoover about 6 months ago, as my old vacuum was not touching dog hair at all. I have a labrador, and so the hair actually manages to spike itself into the carpet. This hoover has no trouble at all in lifting it, and also an absolute ton of dust every time I hoover.
