...am having to drag the Dyson our nearly every day to clean up after her mess. I am forever hoovering and cleaning now and have realised that this dyson is fast becomming one of my most used household products. When we bought this dyson we looked at several and were finding it hard to decide between this and one of the ones with a ball mechanism which supposedly make it easier to navigate around furniture. When trying them both out I found the ones ... ...I hoover around her! This dyson is very sturdy, if I am using a tool so stretching up the stairs with one of the nozzles or something I don't have to brace myself and prepare for the hoover to thud over. This just doesn't seem to happen which makes a change from the last one we had!

Advantages: Power, Specific for Dog hair and Allergies, mini turbine Disadvantages: Quite expensive, Long reach tool topples vaccumm at reach
...a lifetime but according to dyson themselves it should be checked 6 monthly and may need changing if there is any colour change. If these filter needs replacing they cost around £12 and £20 respectivley.
The only problem i am having at the moment is that the vaccum is starting to smell a little of my dog when used. I contacted dyson about this and voiced my concerns and the only suggestion they could make was to change both filters which i am in ... ...and is emptied every time it is used so it is definately not due to poor maintenace. I personally think that it must be the supposed 'lifetime' Hepa filter which needs replacing and will post an update if it cures the problem. If it does a £20 outlay in 3 years can not be bad can it. ...

Dyson claim that it never loses suction, and I have to say (at present) is completely true.
The Features:
Root Cyclone Technology.

Having own the original style Dyson some years ago, I had an idea what to expect with the acquisition of the DC 14 when my old hoover's wheels literally came off (wasn't a Dyson by the way).
The new Dyson clicked together in a few minutes, I even followed the instructions, and within a minute of registering the Dyson on line for the 5 year guarantee I was hoovering away.
The DC 14 boasts some excellent features not least the 1400 w of suction which ... ...waste management system on the Dyson is again a triumph of style and simplicity over hygiene. By grasping the handle of the clear waste tube and clicking the button with your thumb, it comes away in one unit and a simple press of the button unlatches the bottom and the waste simply drops into the dustbin - no hassles.

It cost us about 195 quid expensive I thought but this beauty will last or so I thought.
Its a nice looking bit of kit but all iI wanted it todo was suck I was not dissappointed it sucked in a big way.
Admittedly is was a few months later when we noticed that it was failing to cope, infact we had to remove the end tool and just leave the open ended hose before it sucked to our satisfaction.
Ww eventually ... ...green men from the planet Dyson we borrowed a friends vacuum to try.

...after using my neighbour's animal dyson to clean my student house before I moved out. My husband and I are both vets, so aswell as the hair from our three cats, a dog and a horse, there is also hair from our clothes all over the house! As such it gets a pretty good work out! The amount of hair it hoovers up is pretty disgusting, but it is easy and quick to empty. It is slightly frustrating how quickly it needs emptying when things are really dirty ... ...that is just because it is doing quite a good job. Negatives include the awful noise it makes if it picks up the edge of the rug, and the fact that it can actually get clogged. I managed to clog the brushes of mine and it stopped working. It was fairly easily resolved by turning it off and pulling the hair out, and it was only after several months of use. The worrying thing was that almost all the hair that was causing th blockage was from my pony ...

When people say that things suck it typically means something negative. Not is not the case here. This vacuum really sucks. No pun intended. I have a dog, and I swear she leaves other little dogs where ever she goes. I don't know how that could be because she's been fixed for quite sometime now. No, she just leaves fur all over my house. Enough that I could start and industry on fur coats just off of her alone. That's why I like this vacuum so much. ... ...dogs, but even makes my house smell better. In turn makes me breathe better from lack of allergens and dust in the air. And let's not forget how cool this thing looks. I feel like I have more than the one animal in the house but this one doesn't bark or pee on the floor. ...

...gave up despite the whole Dyson range being very repairable my wife and I decided to replace it with the DC14. This is one of the latest Dyson models and we choose the basic version. The price we paid was £180 meaning that although the Dyson is not cheap it's not the most expensive one around Arriving in one large box the Vacuum requires some assembly but this is simple and done in a matter of minutes. As with most vacuums it comes supplied with ... ...is a problem with all Dyson models and shouldn't really bother anyone but if noise is a factor it's certainly one to avoid. I have not had to change the belt on this model yet but as with all Dyson's no doubt it will.
This is a really good vacuum and does everything it needs to with extra tools for different jobs available from places such as ARGOS. Although it has some drawbacks the are far fewer than the benefits this vacuum provides although ...

Best vacuum cleaner ever!!!
I recently got a kitten and my old hoover was about 10 years old and didn't seem to be doing it's job properly. Luckily my parents gave me this one as they knew my old Hoover was on it's way out. I was so surprised at how much dirt etc it collected on the first go. I hadn't realised what was left on my carpet from my old hoover!!!! The accessories are all on board and easy to attach. The main bonus with this model I have ... ...hoover all the downstairs rooms in one go without having to unplug it at every room, and even go up the stairs with the handy attachment.
