E4 was launched way back in 2001. It was one of the first of Channel4's sister channels to be found on satellite/cable as a subscription service. E stands for Entertainment and that is exactly what this channel claims to do, Entertain. Last time round we had the usual highlights show on Channel 4 every evening, and for those of us who could be bothered (which didn't include me), we could watch the antics of the housemates live on the web site. ...up. The coverage on E4 allows you to choose what you watch, one of four video feeds, two of which are live and the other two tape delayed. ...for your fix. E4 is still in it's infancy and is broadcast from 4pm to 4am everyday. The rest of it's programme contact is very mixed. Quite a lot of the stuff is repeats. Turn on most days and you're greeted with the lame Shipwrecked. In fact up until primetime the channel is packed with youth orientated programming that features dating shows and music shows. One good thing is that you can see the under-rated Party of Five which was never really ...
...this channel first. E4 can only get better and when it cuts down on the frequent repeats and increases it's broadcasting hours more people will tune in. E4 is a relatively new channel available for digital subscribers. I first noticed it when they showed Eminem's concert. ...hearing many people complaining about E4 I thought that I would write about my personal experience with the channel. After the large advertising campaign, stating that it was free to those with digital packages, I was very looking forward to the channel being launched.
