This one's gonna make you sweat.
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by GemmaC25

Advantages: The 30 day challenge keeps you motivated and the exercises aren't boring!
Disadvantages: Doesn't keep a record of your weight and occasionally doesn't track your movements.

EA Sports Active Personal Trainer The Wii Fit has been a hugely popular game, coming with it's famous Wii Balance Board players were doing combinations of balancing exercises, yoga, muscle training and cardio workouts. However, whilst this sounded good, people who were looking for a strong workout may have been disappointed. Wii Fit is fun... but didn't have continous workouts which told you how many calories you may be burning. Then along ... Read review

Another way to get fit?
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by laramax

Advantages: Varied exercises every day to get you toned
Disadvantages: You need plenty of self discipline

...it isn't surprising that when EA Sports Active came on the scene I would be willing to give that a go too. It is designed for use with the Wii and you have the option of using the balance board that comes with Wii Fit or not using it so you don't need to have Wii Fit to use EA Sports Active but if you do have the balance board then it extends the range of exercises you can do. What is it? EA Sports Active is an exercise system which works ... Read review

EA sports Active Wii, a workout that wil shape any couch potato
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by bethanamax1

Advantages: Strict and challanging workouts but the wide range will keep you interested and motivated.
Disadvantages: The wii balance board would be useful for some tasks (extra cost).

Filled with a variety of exercises and challanges from cardio, lower body, upper body, and sports you will find yourself coming back for more as you can try something different everytime and mix up the wokout as you choose. Some exercises available are: target boxing, dancing, squats, running on a track, lunges, basketball and so on. A workout leader ... Read review

Wii active sports is much better value than a gym membership!
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by mrsbroadside

Advantages: Great value for money, great equipment, keeps you motivated and interested.
Disadvantages: I ache!

I bought the Wii active sports after becoming bored with the Wii fit. I was also looking for a gym membership, but thought I would give this ago first. It is fantastic! The box comes with a resistance band and a leg strap to place the nunchuck into. I have currently started the 30 day challenge, where I am completing workouts with my new personal trainer. So far I have completed a high intensity workout which was very challenging, so definately ... Read review

Keep fit at home
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by TashaV

Advantages: Easy way to exercise at home
Disadvantages: If you have large thighs the strap might be too small, music in game is a bit boring

I bought the wii active as I wanted to get into shape and loose some weight. I have three children so going to the gym is not really an option. So I bought Wii active, so I could exercise in my free time at home. I have been using it at home now for 3 months and in my opinion have found it to be a very useful and good product. The number of routines one can make for oneself in my opinion are endless. I have created numerous workouts and depending ... Read review

Wii's Sport Active not for the light hearted
Review of EA Sports Active (Wii) by babylatina

Advantages: Definately a challenge. Worth trying. Can give good effects.
Disadvantages: Not for those who are quite inactive. Aches and pains after a long period of use.

When I first saw this game advertised, I thought "yet another game claiming to require stamina and strength..blah blah blah." After reading reviews from various other websites I decided to buy it. As I pulled the equipment out of the box my eyes widened...I didn't know games actually used this stuff! I chose the 30 day challenge and boy,I have never done anything as challenging. It really does require strength and stamina. I'm not very unfit or extremely ... Read review
