    When the assistant at PC World recommended emachines for my new home computer I was slightly sceptical, having never heard of the brand before. He showed me the specs:- 60GB hard drive 256mb ram 1.70ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor Windows XP 16X DVD CDRW 56k modem ethernet (for broadband) For little over £500 for those impressive specs (and that was six months ago), I figured it couldn't be too bad so I bought it.     I recently bought a emachine emonster dvd750 from PC World at a superb price of £730 for a 750MHz Intel Pentium 3 processor. The specification of the machine is great for the price, including 64MB RAM (a bit low for the processor), 20GB hard drive (great), 3d GRAPHICS, 56k MODEM, 12X dvd drive, speakers and 15" monitor (also available with 17"). emachines are running out quickly at PC World and DIxons, so if you want a great spec machine at a good price, get in fast.
