    Advantages Advantages easy to use, vast array of tools, hours of steam and very safe indeed

    I, like most people, hate cleaning, especially when it comes to cleaning things like cookers and, even worse, toilets. The process of cleaning such things always starts with a trip to the shops to buy the cleaning solutions, bleach, cloths, scrubbing brushes and anything else that claims to be able to make cleaning a lot more effortless. So by the time you get home you’re not only skint from the ever increasing prices that shops are keen to implement on their goods, but your too tired to actually get any cleaning done anyway.     Advantages Advantages Makes cleaning easy. Easy to use. Provides 2 hours of steam from one fill. Reasonably priced. Long flex.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages If you over fill, it can spurt boiling hot water out.

    When we started to decorate and the mess was unbelievable. I never realised that the dust and dirt could get in all the places that it has. We have been saying for a long time that we want a steam cleaner. I recently borrowed my mums and have to say it helped us strip the wallpaper in no time and it did wonders on cleaning the shower cubicle. This made me more determined to get one!     Great !.. , the thought of owning a steam cleaner,.... must get one of those things , saw one on telly ,......one like it was on that very funny programme called Q.V.C , some woman had a steamer strapped to herself and was cleaning off the.......(staged ), spray on dust and fake dirt that made the machine look bloody marvelous ! What wonders to perform around the house and car, .... bugs to kill, curtains & carpets to clean, ingrained dirt and limescale to blast into infinity, the whole house will be sparkley and clean at last .     Advantages Advantages Inexpensive and saves a lot of otherwise hard work.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Overfill .....and boiling water may squirt or spill out when moving around.

    I remember my mum having an Earlex steam cleaner, but not as exstensive as this one, that one only had a few parts, the part I remember most was the wallpaper stripper because there was always a family member or friend who wanted to borrow it , that's how popular it was! The Earlex SC165 Combi has many more parts, 8 to be precise, I've owned my a steamer for about 5 years now and have used it extensively indoors and outdoors and to be honest I would be lost without it as it saves a lot of hard work making cleaning a lot easier.     Advantages Advantages Good at steaming off wallpaper

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Jet of steam not up to the job..

    If you're into DIY and are in the market for a good wallpaper stripper, then this steam cleaner would serve you well. If you actually want to clean with the machine, that I'm afraid is a different story. Be prepared to add a lot of extra elbow grease and for a blister or two. In fact, fill a bucket with water, use a sponge or cloth and a good detergent. Not quite so environmentally friendly, but a lot more effective. Yes, when I bought our Earlex Combi Steam cleaning kit, I was rather disappointed. We got the product home from B & Q and I couldn't wait to "start it up" and clean that stubborn ... more

    Without a doubt, this cleaner has exceeded all my expectations. It has great cleaning power, is fairy easy to use and represents excellent value for money. I bought mine several weeks ago having spent some time deliberating over whether or not a steam cleaner would be a useful addition to my home. I now can't believe how I managed without one. It is capable of so much - with this kit you can clean floors, windows, tiles, cooker tops, ovens, mirrors, bathrooms, upholstery, unblock drains......the list goes on! It even strips wallpaper.     I have had my earlex for 5 years now and wouldnt part with it, its great for wallpaper and cleaning the shower and bath but the scrubbing brush broke after my fifth use the bristles started to fall out (probably due to the steam) Dont get me wrong theres nothing else wrong with it apart from the tools, at first it was difficult to attach the pipes over the tube but once you master it its a doddle, Everyone semms to be asking to borrow my earlex so i guess everyone thinks the same as me, thats its a great product. Well worth the money i would say. But could do with suppling an extra scrubbing ... more
