East Anglia Uni, I wouldn't have it any other way
Review of East Anglia University by
NatalieK
Advantages: Wicked people, great atmosphere, brand new gorgeous bar!
Disadvantages: Concrete everywhere, but changing slowly.
...in all, the University of East Anglia is the place to be, with the uni expanding and the applications increasing each year you won't find a better place to enjoy your degree. ...

A really smart three years
Review of East Anglia University by
thecb
Advantages: Good nightlife, great atmosphere and people
Disadvantages: Bad eateries which aren't open long enough
Well, to try and tell you all about U.E.A. in about 90 words is quite difficult, so I'll probably go a bit over an still not fit much in. I graduated from U.E.A. last year after completing a three year music degree, a course which was informative, enjoyable, and afforded me a lot of playing opportunities. The Uni itself is big, ugly an concrete, but when you get past the somewhat dubious exterior, it's a great place. In my first and third years, I ...

My year at UEA
Review of East Anglia University by
XTHINKERAL
Advantages: Good sports facilities, Good social scene
Disadvantages: Tutors need too look around them for the many who need the help!
I went too UEA last year too study Business Finance. Took this course because I want too go into finance later in life. However as soon as I got there I relised its going too be alot different too the wonderful praise I have heard of it many times..
I needed help on when my lectures and tutorials would be.. In the first month I wasted days just trying too find out when my tutrial was for each individual unit, however I got no help. I thought tutors ...

Hey give us a try
Review of East Anglia University by

Advantages: facilities, everything on your doorstep but a brilliant city if you fancy leaving campus for a while!
Disadvantages: concrete...
Since rejecting a scholarship and unconditional offer in favour of taking a chance on getting the grades to get into UEA, I haven't looked back.
The language department is one of a kind, where you can specialise in languages from french, german, italian to russian, greek or one of the Scandinavian languages (learn one and you understand 3!), linguistics, translation or make up your degree how you want it, with courses of your choice from the whole ...

New to UEA
Review of East Anglia University by
stefthorne
Advantages: full facilties, good university, regualr buses
Disadvantages: concrete looking
...which is quite impressive considering East Anglia is not overflowing in terms of gig venues and this term the same names that will be palying at Manchester Academy will also be in Norwich. Norwich and UEA have been a good surprise because I expected less and theres a lot more to do outside lectures than I thought there would be in Norfolk. Theres also the new sportspark that has just been built this year which has an olympic size swimming pool and ...

My Visit To UEA
Review of East Anglia University by
Matt1902
Advantages: Quite cheap area to live
Disadvantages: None so far as i can see
So far I have had a good look around the UEA and am going there in September, however I have lived in the area all my life. Norwich (where the UEA is situated is a very beutiful city in areas whereas in others it is as busy as any other city.
Norwich is known to have a Pub for every day of the year and also has 6 nightclubs catering for all tastes.
Back to the uni, the uni is quite large but not daunting, it has very modern facilities and this ...

UEA a first class uni!!
Review of East Anglia University by
lulabell87
Advantages: too many to list!!
Disadvantages: bit concrety!!!
I am now i my third year at UEA, so i thought it was time to write about what the uni is actually like.
It is known as the concrete jungle for all the buildings and the lack of greenery, however the university is connected to Earlham Park, a beautiful natural park, with a serene lake. In fact the Law school is in Earlham hall which is on the park grounds, and is a converted manor house.
In my first year i lived in student accomodation, and ...

Great University
Review of East Anglia University by
y9833137
Advantages: Nice People
Disadvantages: Small University
UEA is a great university with a good reputation. I have been there for just over 2 years now and have really enjoyed myself. I come from the Norwich area so i had an advantage in knowing the city and what it was basically going to be like.
If youl like the hustle and bustle and massive cities and uni's then the UEA and Norwich is not for you. The UEA is reasonbly small with 13,000 students, Norwich being a fairly small city does however have alot ...

A Friendly Uni
Review of East Anglia University by
Timmy_Magic
Advantages: Small and friendly
Disadvantages: Mainly concrete campus
I'm just about to go home from UEA for my first xmas since I've been here and although I'm looking forward to it xmas day is going to be a bit strange after having had our own version on Saturday night. The point I'm trying to make is that UEA is a very friendly university where you are bound to make great friends whoever you are and will quickly settle in and banish any homesickness you may have. This is mainly due to the fact that it is a campus ...

UEA - WHY go?
Review of East Anglia University by
Ian_Hunt
Advantages: Good fun - good achademics - especialy ENV
Disadvantages: Concrete - and it's a bit of a pain to get too.
Well I was there for 4 years - should be a good start - it's a good uni and I enjoyed my time there.
General facilities are good but some work needs to be done with improveing the library opening times, the new sports park will make a masie differance to the sports facilities - use it that's all I'll say - I wanted to but had to leave....
Accomodation - Well nothing but Waveney Terrace thats my view - move in before they get rid of it!
The School ...

considering UEA
Review of East Anglia University by
Faitho
Advantages: Modern faciltities, campus based, good teaching staff,...
Disadvantages: Not good if you have a phobiea of concrete!
UEA may not be the most attractive building in England, but so what. It may not be up to date on the outside, but it's got all you need inside. Boasting the largest Environmental school in Eurpoe, a new Olympic standard sports hall, and soon to have a new up to date climate centre and health school, it really is the place to be.
But it's not just the University thats getting with the times! With a new leisure complex being expanded along the river, ...
