    INTRODUCTION My boyfriend and I decided it was time to sort our summer holiday out and after a few days deciding on what to do we opted to go to Orlando and stop off in Las Vegas.     Join me for the worst booking experience I have ever had, in many travelling experiences. I have spent a week on the internet researching for my Christmas/New Year annual visit home to New Zealand and on Saturday night I made the decision based on price and availability to book on the internet..... using EBookers. I went through all the procedure required and when I clicked on the box to put through my credit card it came back saying my security number was not correct: ''use another card or try again later''. I do have another credit card but it's credit limit is low because I do not use it ... more

    When booking my most recent holiday, I made sure I literally checked every website possible to find the best deal on accommodation. I like to book my holidays online as I have done it frequently and never have I had any issues. I always check review websites such as tripadvisor.com just to get general feedback as well as Expedia to see what others have said before booking a hotel.     ebookers are one of only two "complete online" travel engines that I truly rank. (There are quite a few good research sites, but this one and expedia.co.uk are the best when it comes to the whole process from flight research through to actual payment). I have used e-bookers successfully for a recent trip to New York. It pays to book ahead and I managed to get good flights (i.e. leaving at night and coming back over night) on British Airways for £155! (plus tax).     Most of us most have done it, we see a cheap flight advertised, in newspapers, teletext or even on the net, but then they never seem to be available when you want to travel. Well, I have discovered that ebookers has a page that helps you track down them cheap flight.     I'm surprised there aren't more bad reviews about ebookers.com. But then again, there aren't any recent good reviews about them either. Disappointing as I'd hoped their service had improved since I used them for the first and last time in 2006. ebookers have over 20 years industry experience under various different names. Over the last 20 years they have been known as or merged with or been bought with companies such as Cendant, Flightbookers and Orbitz. All travel companies.     I will be going to Berlin at the end of the month. At the beginning of the month I was desperately searching through all the online travel agents for a reasonably cheap flight. I found it with Ebookers.com and was quite surprised how much difference in price my flight was compared to Expedia.co.uk. The price of my holiday is under £114 including Insurance for 5 days with Lufthansa which is not that cheap but compared to Expedia which was under £200 not including insurance I have found a bargain.     This weekend was traumatic for me. Not only do I have my mother in law threatening her presence for 10 days, but I have to pay for the privelege. I started to search out alternatives on the net, and my start was with Brittany Ferries. It has been a while since i have made a booking as I do not travel a lot, but I was surprised how limited the options were with Brittany Ferries.     I have used Flighbookers (aka Ebookers) quite a lot. I have always been more than satisfied with the service and the price. I have done quite extensive research and have not been able to beat any of the prices that I have been given from flightbookers. The one downfall that I have found is that during the busier seasons they can get behind in sending tickets out leading the more nervous person (such as me) to chase them down by phoning the office. Even in this case however the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anybody. Also, I find their site ... more
