    When I was planning a trip to the US for earlier this year, I thought that i'd book everything over the internet. I'd never done it before, so the idea of booking hotels and a transatlantic flight - plus an interconnecting flight from Las Vegas to L.A, was a bit daunting.     I've been visiting Ebookers.com for awhile now, hoping upon hope that it will come up with some good money-saving deals particularly for flights and a programme that will find such offers quickly. As of yet, it has not happened. I have signed up for the site's Fare Alert - and don't remember ever receiving any fare alerts! Outrageous! If you are looking to book a particular hotel on a particular night, you have to write in with your interest, which will include giving your credit card details, and then you have to wait.     Last year we booked a flight only package to Las Vegas from Birmingham via flightbookers or ebookers as they are now called. The service was very helpful and courteous and I believe we obtained a very good price. As a result , I went around promoting them to my family and friends. However , two weeks ago we tried to book another flight only package to Las Vegas , initially from Birmingham but as this was full at the prices quoted , secondly from London Heathrow.     I never liked the idea of buying on the internet, too risky I thought, but when I needed to book a flight from Paris to Bristol ebookers made it seem so simple. I searched for the cheapest available flight entered my details and voila! it was all done. No hassle of going into a travel agent and waiting forever to be get a quote. I managed to pick my tickets up from an agency in the centre of Paris and my flight went without any hitches. My only concern would be if you didn't live near or couldn't access one of their agencies to receive the tickts, as postage didn't seem to be a very easy ... more

    I've used ebookers to book my last holiday and found them to be very efficient and professional. They offered the cheapest fare (by £100) for my holiday and my tickets were delivered very quickly. This fare was cheaper than booking directly with the involved airline. I found the site very easy to navigate. Ebookers also allowed me to book a multi-destination holiday by filling out my preferred itenerary online and having them email me with the best fare they could offer.     The E-bookers site, formerly flightbookers, was one of the first online flight reservations I have ever used, yet I have never actually bought flights from them. The reason for this is as follows: I do not like the way E-bookers price fares on their site - you put in your origin, desination and dates. Then to your delight a list of VERY low fares appears. However do not jump for joy quite so fast as unlike some of the more competent systems (such as expedia and travelocity) which only return fares for seats which are available, ebookers returns all fares, and chances are there will not be ... more

    I recently booked European flights via e-bookers. Their internet site was easy to navigate and the flight prices quoted were well below what I normally pay. I believe they are ABTA bonded like most travel agencies but if you are worried or are worried about the internet in general it's always a good idea to book via a credit card as this gives you additional protection. If you live in London you can pick the tickets up in person ( I believe they are near Tottenham Court Road)and save on delivery charges.     Booked with them thinking I'd save a few pounds, instead it's going to cost me more. Fuel in USA is $3.69-$3.71. You are forced to pay Dollar's prices of $4.69 and pay for full tank oblivious to whether yours is empty or not, you get charged. YOU CANNOT SAY I DECLINE TO THIS, YOU GOT NO CHOICE, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR ENGLISH. On top of which they are 100% rude and arrogant when you ask why???     I want to assure all users that I've given this website many chances to make up for their mistakes. Unfortunately they are yet to address any of the issues raised or the complaints made. This website has an awfull customer service department, so don't expect them to assist you with any issues. The website constantly logs you out and you have to re-log in and start the ticket purchasing all over again. This company is just a bad excuse of a online booking business. They don't deserve to be working and they certainly don't deserve to be reviewed anything more than a big fat ZERO (0) in all ... more

    Ebookers the online travel agency is the subject of my complaint. I purchased a ticket for Brussels to Miami return for a friend. The transaction went smoothly and they even had a 3rd party credit card check as it was not the card holder travelling. I received my electronic ticket for my friend but then discovered that I had got the return date wrong she wanted July not June as a return date. I emailed the person who sent my ticket and also asked for a price for another itinerary as they did not do multistop tickets on the web site. Zero response.
