Not my idea of Eden

AdvantagesGreat outdoor hot tubs & yummy cakes & scones

DisadvantagesThe time given for treatments, the service & needs upgrading

"...feel like at the time. Eden Hall Spa is never anywhere I have really considered as it is quite near to home for me so I normally prefer a drive out but as it was for a friend’s birthday it wasn’t my decision. So two weeks ago I logged on to www.edenhallspa.co.uk and had a look through there 2 locations 1 in Nottinghamshire and 1 in Staffordshire. The one I am reviewing today is Nottinghamshire. WEBSITE The website is very easy to understand and ..." Read review

Bliss...

AdvantagesGood facilities, Friendly staff, Relaxing atmosphere

DisadvantagesIt's a bit too expensive to go regularly

"...in the tranquil surroundings of Eden Hall Day Spa in Nottinghamshire. Located 25 miles from the M1 Motorway, or 5 miles from Newark on the A46 Newark to Leicester road or 7 miles from the A1, on the outskirts of Elston, a small village, Eden Hall Spa is enclosed in what, from the outside, seems to be a large old stately home or mansion surrounded by countryside fields. Arrival ************** The day spa opens at 8:30 each day. When making a booking ..." Read review

Garden of Eden.. Review with images

AdvantagesExtensive Facilities, Affordable Prices

DisadvantagesNone

"...was DEFINITELY getting to me! Enter Eden Spa. I have always been a lover of a regular spa day visits, and have driven past Eden Spa several times. About Eden Spa -------------------- Standing in its own grounds, which are largely lawned, this property stuck out as a little odd to me, slightly out of place, as there is nothing around it. It is an impressive building however, and is Grade II listed. Eden Spa is actually situated in the ..." Read review

Slipping standards or higher expectations?

AdvantagesGreat relaxing day

DisadvantagesStaff awareness, food

"I visited Eden Hall for the second time this week. I last visited about 2 years ago and I had quite a different experience this time around. For those of you who don't know about Eden Hall it is classified as a day spa (open at 8.30am close at 6pm) and is based in Newark near Nottingham. Prices --------- I will start with prices as I think this will later explain my overall rating of Eden Hall. You can have a basic day for just £69, or if you ..." Read review

Great day out to relax, unwind and pamper yourself

AdvantagesGreat food, great people, lots to do, very relaxing and a day spent at your leisure

DisadvantagesProducts are very expensive, your limited to have lunch when they schedule it not when you want it

"I paid for 2 relaxation days for my boyfriends xmas present (luckily he asked me to go with him :) ). This involved full use of all equipment through the day 9:00 till 5:00, lunch, and a back massage. He decided when booking the day that we deserved a facial each also, so we went with the relaxing day facial for £27 each. The relaxation day was £85 each. You start off by going to reception, they explain everything to you. You are given a card (which ..." Read review

Beware! if you experience a problem they turn nasty

AdvantagesGorgeous spa

Disadvantagesinexperienced tharapist, tired decor, no customer complaints structure.

"When booking the treatments I requested a combination of therapies which seemed to prove very difficult for them. I encountered a number of lovely staff but I also encountered a number of very rude and uninterested staff. I was close to cancelling the day from this experience but thought that I might have been a little too fussy about the treatments so gave them the benefit. On arrival the reception team were amazing. Very quick and very friendly. ..." Read review

Eden Hall Day Spa Nottinghamshire

AdvantagesOutstanding Spa with all the latest Facilities and Treatments, Freindly Staff and very Relaxing.

DisadvantagesNot a luxury you could afford to do often.

"Eden hall my first spa visit, and what a day to remember. My brother got married last year and we all went on a hen day with his fiancée, I must admit when it was suggested I really thought £69 for a day was a lot of money and was very reluctant to spend as my daughter went to. However it was the most relaxing day I have ever had and excellent value for money. The day starts at 8.30 on arrival your greeted by the friendly staff, who give ..." Read review

Eden Hall

AdvantagesLovely facilities and surroundings

DisadvantagesTreatments are a bit one-size-fits-all

"Eden Hall in Nottinghamshire is a non-residential spa. It has lovely grounds, plenty of indoor and outboor activities eg. exercise classes, small gym, cycling and archery classes. It has a wonderful relaxation room which sent me to sleep. The food is excellent and included in the price of the day. A lovely three course meal plus a buffet. The pool area is the highlight. There is even a section where you can swim out of doors without getting cold. ..." Read review
