I visited Eden Hall for the second time this week. I last visited about 2 years ago and I had quite a different experience this time around. For those of you who don't know about Eden Hall it is classified as a day spa (open at 8.30am close at 6pm) and is based in Newark near Nottingham.

When you arrive at Eden Hall you drive through metal gates into a fair size car park. To leave the car park you follow the signs to another set of gates that you need a code to open.

Advantages: Great food, great people, lots to do, very relaxing and a day spent at your leisure Disadvantages: Products are very expensive, your limited to have lunch when they schedule it not when you want it
I paid for 2 relaxation days for my boyfriends xmas present (luckily he asked me to go with him :) ). This involved full use of all equipment through the day 9:00 till 5:00, lunch, and a back massage. He decided when booking the day that we deserved a facial each also, so we went with the relaxing day facial for £27 each. The relaxation day was £85 each.

Advantages: Outstanding Spa with all the latest Facilities and Treatments, Freindly Staff and very Relaxing. Disadvantages: Not a luxury you could afford to do often.
Eden hall my first spa visit, and what a day to remember.
My brother got married last year and we all went on a hen day with his fiancée, I must admit when it was suggested I really thought £69 for a day was a lot of money and was very reluctant to spend as my daughter went to.
However it was the most relaxing day I have ever had and excellent value for money.

Off you go to the changing rooms where you type in your own code for the locker, in your locker is a bathrobe and towels, Any of these can be changed at reception for fresh ones throughout your day, There are separate changing rooms if you wish, showers all with Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. Advantages: Lovely facilities and surroundings Disadvantages: Treatments are a bit one-size-fits-all
Eden Hall in Nottinghamshire is a non-residential spa. It has lovely grounds, plenty of indoor and outboor activities eg. exercise classes, small gym, cycling and archery classes. It has a wonderful relaxation room which sent me to sleep. The food is excellent and included in the price of the day. A lovely three course meal plus a buffet. The pool area is the highlight. There is even a section where you can swim out of doors without getting cold. ...
