Advantages Advantages Really works, smells gorgeous, smooth, soft, radiant skin

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price

I was first introduced to Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel when I had a lovely Elemis facial in a spa. I purchased the cleanser and toner used in the facial but did not purchase the peel at the same time as it was quite expensive. Well the other day I felt like treating myself, so I brought it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What the product does ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The smooth cream peel contains an exotic cocktail of natural fruit enzymes from African Papaya and Far Eastern Pineapple that helps to gently exfoliate, purify and regenerate tired or sensitive skin. Extracts of Bladderwrack and Sunflower remineralise ... more

Advantages Advantages Works to make skin smooth, moisturised, brighter. A little goes a long way.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive

I adore Elemis products, and regularly spend quite a bit in the beauticians adding to my Elemis stash! On my last visit I bought 3 products and spent a small fortune on them, but my beautician very kindly offered me a free product to chose and as it’s not something I would normally chose I picked the Enzyme Peel. At its full price it is around the £28 mark, and is pretty standard for Elemis prices. When I first got it home, I didn’t really know how to use this product as it’s not a face mask as I initially thought. You use the product in much the same way as you would a mask, but in your skin ... more

Advantages Advantages smells amazing, skin feels fab after using, easy to use and pleasant feeling on skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages none that I can think of

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel The Product Papaya Enzyme Peel is a non mechanical exfoliator, used in a mask format as opposed to the usual grainy exfoliators I was used to. Since my skin is combination oily, but also sensitive, I was advised to give this product a try, on the idea that it was optimum exfoliation with minimum irritation. When I purchased the peel, it was a 15ml size inside an Elemis Limited Edition Anti-Ageing gift pack, alongside a Exotic Cream Moisture Mask, Cellular Recovery Detox capsules, Pro Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream, and the famous Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, all for ... more

Advantages Advantages Brightens up and softens skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages Fragrance, short shelf life

I first came across the Elemis brand through QVC. I think I got a bit caught up in all the chat about how great it was and so ordered the Papaya Enzyme Peel to try it out. I got a free gift with it which was a great bonus and am now on my second tube of the product. The Elemis brand is available on QVC as mentioned, as well as in most department stores and many individuals spas. Many spas who carry Elemis products also do Elemis treatments using the products. You can also order products from the Elemis UK website. It is made in England, has a use-by advisory of 6 months and is not tested on ... more

I bought this from ebay in a small sample tube as I prefer to buy small quantities of expensive products just incase they are useless! So the product! Well basically this is an exfoliating face mask that you leave on for 10-15 minutes. The blurb on the tube says "Natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating Papaya and calming Pineapple smooth and clarify the complexion. This rinse-off exfoliating cream contains nourishing Milk Protein, Anti-Oxidant rich Vitamin E and Marine Algae to Moisturise, repair, and Protect Skin. Perfect for complexions which are sensitive or mature." Although it says it is ... more

Advantages Advantages does exactly as it says, excellent value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I first came across this product two years ago when it was part of a today's special value offer on Qvc and what a find. I have combination/oily skin although it varies from time to time and I find I always reach for this product when my skin needs a little bit extra TLC and my daily moisturiser just won't do. It's a no mess no fuss product that will leave your skin unbelievably soft and smooth. This is a salon formula mask which uses natural ingredients and it's thick creamy consistency and gorgeous tropical scent is an indulgent treat for the skin. It is unlike any mask or peel I have used ... more

Advantages Advantages It works and smells gorgeous

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be expensive

I was a bit wary of the word 'peel' which made me think of peel off face masks or harsh chemical peels but this is misleading. Yes the product exfoliates but does so gently via fruit enzymes. The first thing you notice is it smells good enough to eat like an exotic fruit dessert! The product itself is creamy and applied all round the face and neck like a mask. It is then left on for 15 minutes. After this time I like to pat the product into the skin then remove any residue with a damp cloth. It leaves my sensitive dry skin feeling very fresh but without the harshness of a traditional ... more
