...GOOD BITS
I think Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (hereafter refered to as EA8 lest my fingers drop off) is honestly the best thing since sliced bread. It's one of those things you can't see any earthly good in until you experience it for yourself, at which point you convert whole heartedly to the inherent Eight Hour religion. I am one such convert.
EA8 is really whatever you want it to be. More of a salve than a cosmetic, it is primarily used ... ...of accuracy, gloop. However as Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Gloop is not entirely glamourous I can see why they went with the cream option. BAAAAAAAAAD BITS
Now then... time for the part most people have some difficulty with. It's the price. At £18 per 50 ml tube EA8 does seem a little excessive. As a consumer I am aware that is a remarkably stupid price; with a pestle and mortar and a bit of thought I could probably come up with something equally ...

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - 50ml - circa £25 - typically from department stores such as Debenhams and the likes.
I bought mine from duty free at East Midlands Airport, costing me £16.49 and the young lady providing me assistance wrongly assumed it was for my girlfriend!! ...about this 'wonder cream' from Elizabeth Arden. It was always in the back of my mind that'one day' I would treat myself to some and see what all the fuss was about.
As mother's day approached this year, my daughter kept on asking me 'Mum, is there anything you'd like?' I refrained from the usual, flowers, chocolates routine, and in a voice loud enough so her dad could hear, I mouthed...."Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Moisturising Cream". A 50ml plain white tube, which my husband told me in disbeleif that he'd had to fork out £18 for at our nearest department store.
I couldn't wait to try it. I twisted off the cap and immediately was struck by the pungent smell. It's a little difficult to describe really. It's ...

I bought this product because I'd heard about it everywhere and seemed like a classic, must-have product. I was a bit disappointed with the packaging because it's basically just white and a bit boring. The tube is long and plain; white with black writing on it. After using the cream for three weeks, I must admit I've been rather disappointed with it. Because the product seems to be so popular, I feel almost like a betrayer to criticise it!
