Advantages: It's a lovely squishy soothing cream... Disadvantages: ...but it comes at a hefty price.
So then, would you like to hear about the good bits or the bad bits first?
As I'm in control I'm going to opt for giving you the good bits first to try and lessen the impact of the bad bits...
GOOD BITS
I think Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (hereafter refered to as EA8 lest my fingers drop off) is honestly the best thing since sliced bread. It's one of those things you can't see any earthly good in until you experience it for yourself, ...

Advantages: It accentuates facial features you know! Disadvantages: Cost and maybe the smell.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - 50ml - circa £25 - typically from department stores such as Debenhams and the likes.
I bought mine from duty free at East Midlands Airport, costing me £16.49 and the young lady providing me assistance wrongly assumed it was for my girlfriend!! Brownie points were quite evidently beamed in my direction as the young lady serving me thought … "what a nice young gentleman, thinking of his girlfriend and buying her a present ...

Advantages: Is a multi functional product can be used for various things Disadvantages: Smell may be off putting for some people
There are some products which come onto the beauty scene and take the world by storm, some are a quick flash in the pan but others remain to be stable favourites of customers and beauty editors all over the world. This product falls into the latter category.
Originally launched in around 1934 Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream is one of the company’s most popular items, so popular that in 1989 it was re-launched onto the market. It is one of those ...

Advantages: Brilliant for an array of uses Disadvantages: Smells vile
I'd lost count of thenumber of times I have read about various celebrities chuntering on about this 'wonder cream' from Elizabeth Arden. It was always in the back of my mind that'one day' I would treat myself to some and see what all the fuss was about.
As mother's day approached this year, my daughter kept on asking me 'Mum, is there anything you'd like?' I refrained from the usual, flowers, chocolates routine, and in a voice loud enough so her ...

Good old Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, the lotion that every girl in the whole of the world must know of/used/heard about, now i am going to tell you some more about it to expand your knowledge:

Advantages: Heals and Soothes skin. Disadvantages: Price, can take a while to absorb.
Before I bought Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream I had read about it in magazines with lots of Celebrities citing it as one of there "Must have" beauty products. As ever my inquisitive nature took over and I decided to invest in a tube to find out what I have been missing. So of I went to my local Debenhams and asked the Beauty Advisor for a tube of this recommended cream.

Advantages: Has multiple uses, smells nice Disadvantages: Quite expensive for a cream
I am quite a low maintenance sort of girl, I don't really tend to wear make up but one beauty product I cant do without (aside from my perfume) is my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream.
Up until a couple of years ago, I had never even heard of this product. I went on holiday with my best friend and got sunburnt lips while I was there, she introduced me to Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream and I have used it ever since and was quite shocked that I had never ...

Advantages: Very versatile. Disadvantages: Expensive and oily.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream was initially recommended to me by a close friend, the same friend who has introduced me to many of my most trusted beauty products. I have quite a strict skincare routine, I have rather sensitive skin which if neglected really can look dreadful. I didn’t instantly buy this product, I couldn’t understand what it was or how I would benefit, y’see this cream wont replace your daily moisturiser and cannot be compared ...

Elizabeth Arden's Visible Difference Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant claims to soothe minor skin irritations, symptoms of chapping, peeling or flaking due to minor burns, sunburn, windburn, scrapes, abrasions or cracked lips.
It was recommended to me by a friend a couple of years ago to help with chapped lips and since then there has been no holding me back. I carry it everywhere with me and have used in under lipstick as a lip salve or on top ...

Advantages: Soothes and stops your skin getting irritated Disadvantages: Price, smell, tube of E45 could do the job for cheaper...
Ahh.. 8 hour cream. No one really knows what the hell it is. Well I guess we all have our own ideas. Things like 'Skin healing cream' 'lipbalm' and 'general miracle cream' are mostly the words on peoples lips. Online, I found on a website selling the product descibing its many uses. Here are what they say about the product:
Eight Hour Skin Cream Protectant.
For all skin types.

Advantages: too many for here - read on.... Disadvantages: not cheap - odd smell
This cream is an absolute marvel! I admit I bought my small tube after watching 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here!' OK OK I'm a saddo!!
Anyway, Sian Loyd, the weather girl, was on this programme and kept telling all the ladies with her abotu 8 Hour Cream. I'm searching for a word here to describe how she looked, no make-up, out in the jungle and well, she looked 'vital' - I thought...I'll have me some of that!!!!
So at around £18 for a small ...

Advantages: Great moisturiser, long-lasting Disadvantages: the smell is odd and packaging plain
I bought this product because I'd heard about it everywhere and seemed like a classic, must-have product.
I was a bit disappointed with the packaging because it's basically just white and a bit boring. The tube is long and plain; white with black writing on it. I must say that the lid is quite fancy-rimmed with silver. Then again, all of EA products are quite plainly packaged-perhaps they are going for the minimal, classy look a la Eve Lom?!!
Anyway, ...

Advantages: simple and clear packaging, said to work on dry skin Disadvantages: very greasy, unpleasant smell, odd colour
I'm not one to normally base my purchasing decisions on advertising or "peer pressure", but after all the praise and friends' recommendations I heard about the "miracle cream", I decided to give Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream a try.
After using the cream for three weeks, I must admit I've been rather disappointed with it. Because the product seems to be so popular, I feel almost like a betrayer to criticise it! To be fair, however, the supplier ...

Advantages: You can use it for everything Disadvantages: The smells not the nicest
I had read about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream many times in girls mags. It has always been hailed as a wonder product so I was curious to find out why. Now, I couldn't live with out it - I use it for everything.
So what's it like? It comes in a white tube, the basic simplistic Elizabeth Arden packaging. It comes in a 75ml tube which costs about £15 depending where you buy it from. This tube lasts forever. Well, I've had mine since Christmas ...

Advantages: You can use it for everything and anything! Disadvantages: Very strong and thick so can get messy!
The miracle buy we've all heard of but are too scared to try! The truth is once you try it you'll be hooked-I now regulary have a back up in the cupboard. Prices on it have dropped and if you nosy around Superdrug you'll find it eaisly for around £18, it lasts for ages so dont be afraid to splash out!
However I have one pain with this, it should be marketed as a balm not a cream! This is not something you stick on your face every night, its a skin ...
