    I have been a customer for over 10 years and was recommended by my mum who has had an Empire Stores catalogue as long as I can remember. There are many different catalogues out there such as the Great Universal and Littlewoods Groups but I find that Empire Stores has a very good selection of products available with free delivery - usually within 48 hours if items are in stock - and commision paid at 10% if you want the cash or 12.5% if you redeem it in goods. You then have at least 20 weeks to pay up on all purchases interest free. However for any single item worth £60 or more you can get ... more

    I have been shopping with Empire for a number of years now and have found them to be excellent. I have order many items from fashion to house ware and electrical goods. The recent addition of the, my account, section on the web is a great feature. This allows you to check orders, returns, balance, payments, make payments, view statements. On top of this their existing web site which allows you to order and view offers and inspiration.     I have been an agent for Empire Stores for over twenty years and I am very satisfied with the service that they offer. In that time there have been many improvements and a vastly increased range available from the catalogue. There are two catalogue releases a year. Spring and Summer offers a great range of summer clothes and footwear as well as all your gardening requirements.     Catalogue shopping is one of the easiest things to do. I’ve only recently started with Empire and I think it is a very good catalogue. I applied by filling in an advertisement. They were offering a free item i.e. an iron, £20 discount on your first order etc., about eight items you could choose from. I filled in the form (name and address) and posted it off.     Two years ago i recieved a letter through the post from Empire saying i may of won upto £60,000 in a draw and all i have to do to claim and see if i have won is sign up for their summer catalogue and make an order of £20 or more.As i was going on holiday in about a months time, i though great, i need some new clothes and if i win some cash,that will be a bonus.So i sent off for the book.     I have been an agent for Empire Stores for longer than I care to remember and have nothing to complain about. The catalogue arrives twice a year as with most mail order firms. It is always comprehensive and has a good selection of clothes for all the family as well as bedding, luxuries, white goods, furniture, gifts and more. The prices are sometimes higher than High Street prices but not always by any means. There is a free phone number to use to place your orders.     I have been an agent for Empire for over 8 years and feel it is a great catalogue to be with. The catalogue is packed full of products and also has a freephone number and free delivery. There are loads of categories which cover pretty much every part of your life: Clothes - For men women and kids. The clothes sizes even go up to size 24 which is great for any larger woman out there.     I have been using Empire Stores for Catalogue Shopping for about 16 years so far and I can’t see me ever leaving them. I can’t remember how it all started, probably one of those “Enter our free prize draw” cards. That and the chance to shop from home with £10 discount must have been the reason. I was never one for shopping, all that traipsing about shops with all the hoards of fellow shoppers, but this was different.     I have had many different mail order catalogues, some I requested, others seemed to come of their own accord, perhaps due to other companies passing my details on or as a result of market research. Anyway, in my opinion, Empire provides quality merchandise and fairly good customer service. ADVANTAGES: As well as clothes for adults and kids, Empire has household items, toys, electrical goods and home furnishings.     I never used to be a big fan of mail-order shopping. I prefered to go and look myself and actually see what I was buying. Then I was flicking through a friend's copy of Empire and actually liked what I saw. Being a large sized person, I was particularly impressed with their larger clothes, although it does annoy me that I have to pay more - OK so they use an inch or two more material but please!! Having said that, at least they don't draw the line at sixe 16 and the larger stuff isn't so fuddy-duddy anymore.
