The contours fir around your knee well, and the single cut away allows you to reach all 22 frets. Advantages: Authentic Les Paul tone and looks Disadvantages: Lacks the characteristic sustain
I bought my cherry sunburst Epiphone les paul for £255 brand new two years ago. My initial decision to purchase was fuelled not only by my total worship of the Les Paul name and figure but also due to the fact that it was becoming incresingly difficult to get the kind of sound I wanted out of my Fat Strat.
I was after the traditional thick tone that is synoymous with the name, and needed something with a bit more grunt and a lot more sustain than ... ...nicer than those on the Epiphone Standard model, and from playing on my friends standard, are lot smoother and less 'juddery'.
The neck and fret set up was spot on, with no rough frets and a completely straight neck. The dot inlays of the neck are the only feature that gives this a way from a distance not to be a more expensive model (Most others traditionally have trapezoidal or block pearl inlays). I found Epiphone Les PaUL Electric guitar not so expensive and that's why I choose to buy this guitar. This Electric guitar sounds better, it's amazingly you can produce many sounds that rock your world. You know, I can't afford very expensive electric guitars... expensive or not, it's all same in producing sound... It's depend on how you care, got!! ...
