Advantages: Good printouts, Cheap to buy Disadvantages: Bit Noisy, Price of Toners
...had several of the older Epson C1000 printers before.
Needing to get another laser, my first intentions were to get another C1000, but they had unfortunately been replaced by the smaller (and cheaper) C900 so we thought we would give it a try. Luckily for us, the gamble has definately paid off.
The printer is of average size for a printer of this type (about the size of a 21" TV) so can just about fit on a desk, but we found it far better to ...

Advantages: Reliable and good print quality Disadvantages: very noisy and rubish at doing lables
Last year my farther felt the need to get rid of our old inkjet and replace it with the AcuLaser C900 which to me seemed like a good idea as we tend to print quite a lot. however several months down the line I'm not 100% convinced it was the right decision.
Good points:
Does good quality colour and B/W prints.
Prints large documents much faster than your standard ink jet.
Easy to set up via USB.
Bad points:

Advantages: Cheap at the time Disadvantages: Unreliable on network
I bought the Epson Aculaser C900 about nine months ago for a network of 25 PCs, taking up the then good price of approx £499. I bought this printer purely on price, as I was limited by budget. I now wish I hadn't bothered.

The printer is capable of large colour printing jobs and has four separate ...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: A little noisy
I purchased this printer in July 2003 online from Pc World. I received the printer very quickly and set it up straight away. Very easy to set up with Windows XP via Printer port. (also has usb port). I use it to print photo's, business cards, invoices, cd labels and general printing of documents. I have only used it to print on A4 paper and card and it does this with ease. It takes just over a minute to set itself when first turned on but is a little ...

Advantages: Good Price Disadvantages: very limits in networking & driver compatibility
I purchased EPSON AcuLaser C900 2 weeks ago. The price and spec attracted me to made this decision.
The paper tray is easy cause paper jam, can you image got error light comes out and open cases once a day at least? And, when I put A5 paper in and set up paper size in Word (Office XP version), the red light comes out again! So all I can print now is in standard A4 plain paper, if I try more other paper sources, I think I definatelly need more time ...
