I have had a GT 7000 for over 2 years and have found it to be far better than the model currently being offered by them. It came with a SCSI card which in my mind is by far a better way of connecting a scanner than either parallel or USB. SCSI is faster than parallel by far, and compared with USB it is always present as PC's seem to lose USB devices for no reason. Advantages Advantages Extremely Fast, Reliable, Easy Installation, High Resolution

Disadvantages Disadvantages Costly, End up spending vast amounts on printing EVERYTHING!!!

Well worth the money! ... more

5 Stars Quick review of Epson GT 7000 by Illuminati.asia 10/06/2009
Well, it's June 2009 and my Epson GT-7000 has only just died due to a massive powersurge that blew the surge board (along with some other bits and pieces...not happy) So...maybe 9 years solid usage and it's gone due to outside issues. Sad to see it depart this mortal coil.
