I have used several different types of printer in my time, my first being an Epson and my last being an Epson. I had something else in the middle but got another Epson pretty quickly. I use something different at work sometimes but really like Epson printers best.

The photo enhance software is useful for printing different focuses or colours and the print image matching compatibility is great with my digital camera. ...So I went for the Epson CX3200, and have now had it in my possession for nearly two years and feel able to tell you all about it.
---The Machine---
This printer is, in a word, huge. Remember that it includes an A4 scanner, and is actually even larger than that. In fact, it was a very tight squeeze getting it onto the shelf on my computer desk. Colour-wise it's a bog standard beige colour, which actually seems to get grubby very quickly. This is ... ...refilling slightly awkward. The official Epson cartridges (TO40/41) are fairly expensive, but I've found that I get just as good results by using compatibles. The one thing that didn't work out so well is re-filling cartridges, I found this cause the printer heads to get blocked very quickly.
And talking about printer heads, I've found that if the printer is not used for even as little as a week, the heads tend to get blocked. Although this can ...

Advantages: Very cheap Printer, Good quality, Fast Disadvantages: Bit large
EPSON have a very respectible name in the printing industry. With there cheap innovative designs and quality printers, they lead the market along side Hewlett Packard. This printer maybe quiet large in size but in the long run it is cheap, and saves the seperate scanner and colour photocopier.

...decided to ditch my old Epson printer and scanner (they were separate devices) in favour of this, Epson's low-end multi-function. And I am very glad that I did. ...life is quite good, however epson original cartridges are stupidly expensive. I use a cheap epson clone available from ebay at the cost of 7GBP for four cartridges. ...try an Epson.
The Epson CX3200 is quite a cheap purchase in the big scheme of things, less than £90, for a scanner / printer all in one so I thought why not!

What more can I say about the performance - well nothing more that this is good enough for any home office. This is a nice scanner and a nice printer all in one!
