Advantages Advantages STYLISH,WELL ENGINEERED, GOOD QUALITY PRINTING AND COPYING.

Disadvantages Disadvantages I HAVE FOUND NONE IN ALMOST 4 YEARS!!

THE EPSON STYLUS CX6600 MULTI-FUNCTION PRINTER. My last review was of the Epson Stylus R265. In that review I also mentioned that I had one for about four years that had been trouble free. THIS IS THE ONE!!. I am delighted that I purchased this model for my scanning, faxing, photographic printing requirements. Regarding the design, there are no square corners! It has a nicely rounded and an asthetically pleasing. I purchased this model for the princely sum of £99.99. I honestly think this printer will outlive me! For a multi-printer it has everything except that I have to put the paper in! LOL ... more

    Advantages Advantages Does everything brilliantly,faultless.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Big, but this is a small price to pay for such an excellent machine.

I purchased the Epson CX 6600 to replace a HP PSC1315 that had broke after only 2 weeks use, but they are apparantly not the most reliable printers by far, as I found out by reading a lot of info about HP printers on the web (just wish I had done this before I had bought it). I was a bit nervous at first about getting this printer as it is not that small. But you have got to remember that there is a scanner, printer, photocopier in this machine, but it is still a lot smaller than having the three machines on your desk. But this is a small price to pay for such an excellent machine. A nice idea on ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent quality, quick print speeds, great ink economy.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Its a bit on the big side, but it is does everything you need.

I bought this about 4 months ago from the Argos, I paid £150 for this printer (its currently about £100), which was about the middle price range at that current time. I chose it because it had the best options for its price, and a friend of mine had the one below it and said that that was excellent so I went ahead and bought it. First off, this printer is amazing! It is easily the best printer I have ever owned, and I've owned Hewlett Packard, Epson, Canon, Samsung and Lexmark printers, and this one smokes them all in every area. It does everything I need, and probably more that I just haven't ... more

Advantages Advantages Fast Printing & Scanning, Lots of Features, Ease of use, Quiet

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bulky, but cant argue for the price or quality

After having the Epson CX3200 for about a year i decided to upgrade. There was a few choices out there but i have always trusted the Epson Brand. I decided to go for the Epson CX6600, and what a great choice. After unpacking the printer out of its HUGE box i was impressed with the design and quality of the printer. The only thing i was annoyed with was the lack of a USB cable, but not many manurfacturers give these with there printers, plus they are cheap enough to buy. The printer is a bit on the bulky side but you must remember that it is an all-in-one printer, so it will be a bit bulky ... more

Advantages Advantages Cost Effective to Run and Very Versatile

Disadvantages Disadvantages Has a limited life-span

I bought mine 2 years ago (I didnt realise it had been so long!) and it has just ceased to work saying that some of the parts inside it are at the end of their service life. I only paid £120 for this all in one machine and I have used it for business purposes - so it has done a LOT of printing. It has been left on for at least 20 hours+ per day and until just now it has been faultless. It gives good print, quality pictures and has a fairly good print speed. The cartridges I used were the re-manufactured type and work out at less than £3.50 each (I used to have a Lexmark printer before this one ... more

Advantages Advantages sorry can not recommend any advantages for this Epson model

Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive ink cartridges, stops working totally requiring service at a shop, constant paperjam

I previously worked in admin/office work, always had HP Printers & a friend recommended Epson to me (big mistake) I purchased my Epson CX6600 18 months ago, after using the printer for approx 6 months it displayed printer error "see your documentation & call service if necessary" an Epson outlet service centre replaced the printer, the Second printer has been in my possession approx 12 months & again today it displays the same message, I have a small business & have to say BOTH printers were not used excessively (some days they are not used at all) & they constantly had paper jam, the ink is ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages larger than the average printer

We bought this printer recently when our old one gave up the ghost. I was suprised by how much this printer does, usually printers like this proclaim miracles but are so complicated that i only ever manage to print things on them and the other functions are wasted. Not so with this one. It has high quality printing for documents and the photo's we print come out better than you can get in Boots. It photo copies both black and white and colour at the touch of a button and you can enlarge and reduce the size of things too. The memory card slots are excellent, you just plug them in and you can ... more

    Advantages Advantages None

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor print quality, poor ink colours, huge running costs, big size, irritating software.

I've got this printer and, frankly, am thinking of throwing it in the bin. The software that comes with it is ill thought out and requires several applications that all do similar jobs. It's too dumbed down for my liking and takes over installed softward which caused endless problems. Generally the print quality is poor - faded and bad colours - surprising given the outrageous cost of ink. The ink usage is scandalous. I bought the printer following reviews like the one written here saying it's economical with ink. Well, I've just printed the 12th sheet since replacing all the ink cartridges ... more

Advantages Advantages this isnt just a printer, its a photo copier and a scanner as well

Disadvantages Disadvantages it is a bit chunky

This is a great printer it may be a little bit space consuming but that is just so it can fit in all the great features. This is three things in one! The integrated scanner allows you to use it as a photo copier without the need of having to use a computer, just stick in whatever you want to copy and press copy. If its scanning you want then just open your favourite word processor and click insert Image from scanner and there it is within two minutes, it has a great resolution for scanning in photos. The printer quality is great too, it is especially good in black and white as it produces ... more

Advantages Advantages It's a great all in one

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

This is a great printer, scanner and photocopier all in one. It's easy to use and self explanatory for most functions and was easy to set up. People complain that it's too big, but that's not really problem considering it does so much. Black and white printing comes out very quick, colour also quite quick, but if you want top quality photos you have to wait a bit but they're good quality. The only thing I found with it is that when I put in non-brand supposedly compatible inks bought from eBay the quality was awful. So you have to buy Epson branded inks (which are expensive) or it turns into a ... more
