Epson Stylus D78 Printer
I bought this printer as a direct replacement for my old Epson printer which recently went on the blink. Anyway I have used Epson's in the past so thought i'd stick with them as third party/remanufactured ink cartiridges are easy to get and also cheap too.

Advantages: Low running costs, four individual inks Disadvantages: Unreliable, lines appear in text after few weeks of use
...must recommend that you buy Epson OEM genuine ink as the quality is not so good with others.
After a while, lines started to appear in the printouts, so thinking it was just this printer and not the actual model, we exchanged it for the same model. Now, after just three/four weeks the problem has occurred again.
Unfortunately because of this I cannot recommend this printer to anyone. ...

Advantages: cheap, quick and simple to use Disadvantages: very expensive ink and prone to leaving streaks
this printer is very much a basic printer, it is quite prone to clogging and leaving streaks on the paper, and recently has decided that it likes to eat paper! saying this though, it was a very cheap printer and does the job quite well, it is not too bad on ink, however doing a comparison against my old printer (same make) it seems to use a lot more black ink. and although the printer was extremely cheap and worth the money, the ink is more expensive ...

I have used this service when myD68 failed and received this excellent replacement. Printer will print very high quality prints and requires 4 cartridges which make it that much easier to replace cartridges the colours always seen to last longer their the black but these are cheap.
