Advantages: Reasonable price, can produce high quality prints and good support. Disadvantages: Kind of bulky, bit of an ink-guzzler.
My experience of the Epson Stylus series.
5 years ago, an Epson Stylus Color 440 came bundled free with my computer. Since then, I have had excellent prints from a robust product. However, recently this beauty decided to stop working - probably because it got dropped off a table - so I decided I would have to begin my search for a new one.
Features.
I looked on the internet, and all over shops in town, and immediately this D88 caught my eye. Features ... ...and running in minutes. The Epson software, provided on the CD, contains certain features such as the ability to fit web pages onto a print, and a simple photo program, allowing you to easily manipulate your images and then print onto a particular paper size. Advantages: Relative low cost. Ease of use and good quality Disadvantages: Not perfect quality but what do you expect you aren't paying £200+
This is the fourth epson stylus seriese printer I have purchased over the last eleven years they perform very well. I find this one by far the best value for money and the print quality for the price paid is excellent. The first one I bought was in excess of £400 and the print quality is worse than this, which only cost £65.99.
I have used two different cameras to see what the photo print quality is like the first an old nikon with 2mp and the second ... ...were indistinguishable but on an A4 format there was very slight blurring but still good quality.
When it came to printing doccuments it gave a near lazer printer appearance and was fast enough for my needs.
The printer does not come with the necessary USB cable so the cheap price is deceptive as a good cable will cost about £10.00.
Overall this is a really good printer which performs well and is in my opinion cost effective. ...

Advantages: Cheap epson cartridges and best in budget range Disadvantages: larger then a average printer
After browsing the net and reading about this printer I took the plunge and brought it. WOW is all i can say ,Print quality for it's price is better then a colour laser I use at work. Photo output on the proper paper is near perfect quality with the ability to do borderless prints. What i looked for was the economy of using the printer I didnt want to be spending a fortune on cartridges. This printer uses a 4 cartridge system After scouring the net ...
