Advantages: price Disadvantages: only good for occasional use
...me, that a brand named Epson was probably the most popular brand, so I took his words with me and went online at home to have a look on their website, as for some reason my local store had hardly any printers in stock!- I found this Epson D92, it was priced at 29.99- but a web only exclusive, so not available in stores.
I ordered it, which was a pretty easy task- PC World's website was very simple to navigate around.
It arrived in a few days after ... ...rounded corners and edges, and Epson is wrote in silver writing on the front.
It doesn't have a digital display and only a few buttons on it....another thing thats missing on appearances is a memory card slot- which i've noticed is something on a lot of printers now.
+FEATURES+
It features the separate coloured ink cartridges, which are apparently eco-friendly, It uses 4 in total, the colours are cyan, magenta, yellow and black- to buy them they ...

Review of Epson Stylus D92 printer Epson Exceed Your Vision is the encouraging slogan on the box, but did this printer exceed my vision? Read on! ==The Product== I purchased this printer from Tesco in October 2008. I had not owned an Epson printer before, my previous printer was a Lexmark, which, although I was quite happy with, the cost of replacement ink was very expensive. Having looked around and read a few articles in computer magazines, I settled ... ...and image printing from the Epson Stylus D92 printer. For a budget priced item, the results are very encouraging. I'm particularly pleased with the non smudge inks, as smudgy prints were a problem that my previous model had. As stated earlier in this review, I purchased the printer last autumn, so I feel I have been able to give it a good testing period before writing this review. The ink usage, is as I hoped much better than my previous printer ...

Advantages: Well designed body, smudge-resistant inks Disadvantages: inaccurate ink gauge, ink dries up, can't clean cartridges individually
The price was cheap. The design of the paper tray is good. This is the first printer I've had where the paper is not either dropped to the floor (my printer is on a shelf) or sucked back into the roller (Cannon) causing a jam. It had a sturdy feel. The set up instructions were inadequate and unnerving with bits of tape which I wasn't sure if I had to pull off or not before using.
Although the ink was expensive, it boasted (and delivered) a reasonable ... ...a document printed on a Cannon!). I liked the idea of separate colour cartridges.
I found the print quality perfectly acceptable and used the printer's options to lower the saturation. Draft quality was too poor to be useful but because the printer allows you save a Print Profile, I could set up a suitable equivalent. This latter feature has been very useful - I could specify paper size and orientation. It would have been more useful if it could ...

...up again, despite having all Epson cartridges in.....I've just got back from an Epson Express Centre (20 miles away!). There they took out the new Epson cartridges I had installed and which the machine was telling me were empty again. The machine accepted and worked with the replaced cartridges. Now I have got home only to discover that the bugger at the Express Centre took out the cartridges he had tested the machine with, without even having offered ... ...supplier who has said that Epson have changed the chips in their cartridges as they don't want customers using compatibles. So, am I to assume that that has something to do with the fact that I can't even use the Epson cartridges I had recently purchased from my supplier? The printer only cost me about £33 yet a full set of Epson cartridges costs over half that...it's cheaper to bin the printer and buy another rather than pay for two or three sets ...

Advantages: Cheap, Excellent reproduction of Graphics Disadvantages: Expensive Epson Ink, fiddly, insufficient choice of settings
As a user of Epson printers for a good number of years I was extremely disappointed with this Printer. The beauty of Epson for me has always been the low cost of Purchase as well as the ability to use compatible inks. I use mine heavily and so when it expired I could easily and cheaply replace it.
As other reviewers have said, it is probably good only for occasional use however my problem, and why I won't buy another Epson, is that Epson deny you ... ...inks the chip on the Epson D92 told me the Ink had run out on 'Black' after only a few prints. On inspecting the Cartridge it was 2/3rds full, I then had to 'trick' the Printer into thinking I'd replaced the cartridge altogether, something a less experienced user might not know how to do, and something I don't want to be doing too often either as it is tedious and should be unnecessary. Epson previously gave a choice of accept / reject along with ...

Quick review of Epson Stylus D92
I replaced my old Epson Printer with this Epson Stylus D92, I can't remember how much it cost but I had always thought my old printer was OK as the cost of generic cartridges were quite reasonable. This new printer is proving to be just as reasonable on generic cartridge price. The quality of the printout depends on the quality of the paper I have always found it to be quite good. The photo printing on photo paper is pretty good too. For the price I paid I am very pleased with this printer. ...

Quick review of Epson Stylus D92
Print quality is fantastic, ink economy is also brilliant, from printing spreadsheets to photos I don't have a complaint about this printer.
Separate cartridges are also brilliant, as when one runs that you can just replace that particular one. But to save money more, you can buy multipack with them all in and still only put the one in that you need ...
