~~ Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair ~~ I have always believed in taking good care of my skin and since my teens I have religiously followed a beauty regime. I am now approaching my mid forties and have skin that I can be proud of, but over the years it has been necessary to change my products due to the ever changing needs of my skin. Whilst I would previously be lured into purchasing new products due to the promise of miraculous results I am now wary and where possible, I opt to try out a sample before parting with my hard earned cash. Advantages Protects skin, makes it look healthier
Disadvantages A bit pricey, takes a few minutes to absorb, smells a bit icky!

I really like Estee Lauder products but I don't buy them that often because they are so expensive. There has been a lot of hype and advertising surrounding the 'Advanced Night Repair' product recently and I just got a new job so I thought I would treat myself and decided to buy this to see what it was like. The product is meant to help your skin to repair itself from UV and environmental damage and also protect against these strains too before they damage your skin. She has been using the serum for a few years now, and still seems fascinated with the results. PRICING Advanced Night Repair Protective Recovery Complex by Estee Lauder is presented in two different sizes: 30ml (£32) and 50ml (£45). Whilst this might sound pricey, I bought my first 50ml bottle in December last year and only finished it 5 days ago. Disadvantages A little pricey, but well worth the money

I was looking around the beauty counter in my local Debenhams and I was attacked by one of the sales people on the counter. I am usually not a lover of Estee Lauder products, as I do have quite sensitive skin and I have got to be careful of what I use, particularly on my face, as if I use something that irritants the skin my face usually swells up like a balloon, so I was a little hesitant at first about looking into these products. Applied with an eyedropper, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair has some immediate results, but I'm not sure about overnight or long-term results. I think this product works best when applied to a clean face -I use it after evening showers or baths, before bedtime. The directions says to apply it AM and PM daily, so why is it only a "Night Repair" product, I wonder? Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair's liquid formulation may be applied in very small amounts with the eyedropper to most critical areas of the face. This is an amazing product! I've used Estee Lauder make up for several years now and take advantage of the offers by Boots and John Lewis of the free gifts you get when you buy two or more products. Now I have always had oily spot prone skin so rarely use the free moisturizers and serums I had accumulating in my Estee Lauder draw. However a few weeks ago I did a stupid thing of falling asleep in front of a log fire and woke up with very red dry skin, similar to very bad sunburn. Aargh! This is yet another Estee Lauder product which I am happy to recommend. There are two types of product in this range, both doing the same thing, one being with extra whitening rcovery complex. This is for those who are concerned with maintaining the fairness of the skin and preventing discoloration or pigmentation. ie more siuted for darker skins or those with freckles. I have tried both and found them to be good although the effects can only be seen after long term use and not immediately unlike some of their other products. I had been recommended to try this product by a work colleague who had raved over it and I must say her 40 something skin did look great but I was put off by the price then whilst browsing in a department store one day I was offered a sample by the sales girl. Well I felt the difference after only a few days ! My " mature menopausal skin " felt wonderful. Gone was that dry feeling across my cheeks and forehead and I think there is a noticable difference in the lines around my mouth and eyes. I hinted for my next birthday and was given it as a gift. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair -- The Brand's Best Stuff 30/01/2011

Advantages moisturizing, smoothening, minimizes dark circles, reduces aging effects, sensitive skin
Disadvantages expensive, only at night, sticky, use sparingly, can't get all of the serum from the bottom

Okay, I've been using this stuff since I was fourteen. I know it sounds crazy (and expensive.) My mum would have this stuff and drop a little. I'd drop a little too, learning all the while to take really good care of my skin. It made me learn to appreciate good skin. My mum is an Asian lady with fine, porcelain skin that looks amazing and she is in her fifties now. I have always respected her and want to age just like her. Growing up and dropping Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair sparingly on my face in the evenings before bed, I found I suffered from much less acne than my brothers ... more
