    Why I have Written This... Now, I'm coming up to nearly a year of being a Ciao member, and having been writing since I left college, it has come to my attention recently that there seems to be a feeling that the community spirit, confidence and general effort to write quality original work has waned slightly. Several things have made this clear to me. Firstly the amount of churned out poor quality 'reviews' to simply get any such a bonus which Ciao place on any given category.     Men may want to step away now, this article contains words like ‘period’ and ‘ovulation’ and other stuff which makes weaker men run for the hills. If however you have a friend or partner who is about to go through IVF, then read on – I hope this insight helps you. Of course, everyone’s story is different, this is mine. . .     Dempsey's Mission Impossible Challenge I have done a few challenges on this site, never would I normally think of doing a challenge of my own. But after so many challenges have gone so well I have been inspired to do one of my own. Trying to think of a challenge that is totally different from the rest is so hard. 5 questions or 10 questions just does not get my mind racing enough (that is not a dig as I have loved so many challenges on this site that I have read), but me, I strive to be different.     This has actually turned into an epic it took a lot of thought. Sometimes we can ramble and sit around reflecting about past events in our lives. After a very mixed week where nothing particularly damaging happened, but there were certain incidents that set off thoughts, I have decided to write this review.     Living with an iliostomy. An Iliostomy? I have never heard of that, what is it? This is the usual comment when I tell someone that this is the operation that I have had. This operation was inevitable after many years of suffering with a stomach complaint that none of the doctors at that time could diagnose.     Ahh, well that's not strictly true, as it goes. You have to start somewhere though, and it's as good a place as any; to start with a conclusion - for a change! In one sense, this a life recollection, but I want to see what I have gained, rather than lost. If you have read some of my stuff it may not be new to you, except for the conclusions I have drawn. I suppose I have to start at the beginning to make sense of it all so here goes. I will try not to dwell too much on any of it though.     Introduction agencies, where do I start ? Well, I don't think anybody has actually reviewed these, probably because everybody has had better luck than me, but I thought I should warn you all of these truly awful agencies that are only after your money and have no interest at all in their clients.
