Advantages Advantages Excellent visuals; fitting soundtrack; very fast sense of speed; fast and furious gameplay is fun.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite challenging; soundtrack can be repetitive at times; a little lack of modes.

-(Game Information)- Name:Extreme G-3 Published and developed by Acclaim Genre:Futuristic Racing Release Date:May 3, 2002 Age Rating:3+ for mild violence Number Of Players:1-4 Online:No Memory Card Usage:6 blocks -(History)- Acclaim were quite a mixed company. It had many great games, like the original Turok games, Aggressive Inline and Extreme G-3, yet they had some less than stellar games. They had a track record for not doing so well on licensed games like South Park on the original Playstation. In 2004, Acclaim filed for bankruptcy. First released on the N64, the Extreme Racing series has ... more

Advantages Advantages fast furious better graphics then Nintendo 64 versions, good music

Disadvantages Disadvantages Tracks don't seem as good as xtreme G1and 2

History ********* The Extreme-G series first made it onto our shores in 1997 on, the Nintendo64. The game is produce by Acclaim who is behind many other great games for example Turok, Shadowman, and their newer series Burnout. So will The Third Extreme G installment meet the expectations of the previous versions? You can race within a team or singular. They are Green and Purple grids within each racetrack ... more

Advantages Advantages Breaking The Speed of Sound

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited Options

The N64 Extreme G was great; fun, competitive and crazy was what made this game what it is today. But in the two N64 hits, something was missing. Even though racing was very enjoyable, it didn't have sense of speed. Burning down a track at speeds up to 800 miles per hour could easily be mistaken for going shopping with your Grandma. But then when the third addition on a Nintendo console was released, things would change. You see, this game feels so fast, you could probably fall of your chair if you make a wrong turn, oh yes, it does feel that good... As I said, this game feels fast. The first ... more

Advantages Advantages BEST GRAPHICS IN THE SERIES EVER! even better than the the newest in the series XGRA!!!

Disadvantages Disadvantages no online play and controls are a bit akward could be better

There isnt much here to say really. I f your a fan of the series from the first two titles on the N64..YOU MUST GET THIS....aside from the obvious improved graphics this title is astonishing on the gamecube. The controls are a bit akward but you should be able to in no time get accustomed to controlling your futuristic bike going speeds past the sound barrier!!! at which point you get the SONIC BOOM effect as your bike hurls you across the tracks at speeds waaaay faster than the speed of sound(eventually) with incredible scenery and locations!!!! You start of with the slowest bike class and as ... more
