F1 2000 is a very good and realistic game based on the motor sport Formula 1.
The graphics are superb and the cars actially look like F1 cars... unlike other F1 games where they look like a pointed box with 4 wheels.
The gameplay is superb and every is so real... the cars, background, pitlane, gameplay and you actually feel like you're driving a F1 car.

Formula 1 2000 must be the most accurate simulation of formula 1.
From the cars to the teams it is pure exceellence although the commentary is something to think about as it gets quite annoying with the pit crew balabbering in your ear. The graphics make up for it and every race you can sproose up your car as much as you want. The sound isnt great but I guess the feel of racing as one of your best drivers is enough. The one thing got me worried ... ...go faster than Micheal Shumacher (hmmm) that is one of the few flaws. There are a few glithes and I wouldnt reccomend it to any non Racing or Formula1 fan but if you enjoy this kind of thing I highly recommend it. This game is well worth a look at and spend a little bit of your time to get into it trust me you will really enjoy it. One word comes to mind: CLASS. Okay, so the steering is abit like that of a tank and there are a few glitches in the driver Al, but otherwise this game is just class.I love the innovation of pit lane assitance off(and being able to spectacularly spin off other drivers!)
The tracks and scenary are incredible and the general graphics are to me, miles better than Grand Prix 3.
Add to the equation the excellent multiple car models and a vitual cockpit ...

This game could have been so much better, normally EA get there releases spot on when it comes to games, however this game needs a excellent graphics card a massive processor to run at even a decent speed - If you have got anything less than a Pentium III 450 forget it as it will run but will be jurky to say this least -
The graphics in the game are similar to that of superbikes 2000 - not that impressive even when using a powerful graphics card.
