Advantages: Range of playing options, very playable Disadvantages: Some minor problems, too easy to get sent off
Fifa 09 is a football game for the Nintendo DS. The DS might not seem the best console to play football on, but I was surprised how easy it was to pick up, and how many options were available, even though of course it can never rival the Fifa games for the larger consoles. In terms of the game play, there are certainly lots of different options. There are 140 attacking and 40 defending options, apparently totalling 50,000 combinations, allowing you ... ...such comparisons wouldn't be fair given the technology. Overall, a reasonable game, so four stars out of five, just needs some polishing to make better. There will no doubt be a Fifa '10 so we can see if those improvements have been made! (also on dooyoo under same name) ...
