Advantages: Superb Graphics,Great fun with friends, Much improved gameplay Disadvantages: Rubbish Goalkeeper intelligence
Having played and owned every Fifa game from Fifa 95, for various different consoles it was inevitable that I would be picking up the new game. Throughout the years there have been plenty of Fifa games and many of them good games, but over the last few years it seems as if the standard has fallen as EA sports have tried the game play. However I am pleased to say that the standard of this year?s game is much higher. GRAPHICS ======= The graphics on ... ...been this many in a Fifa game before but you get a much more realistic experience when playing in these stadiums as each one if modelled to look like the real thing. The stadiums in the game are from the 18 teams that have been chosen from around Europe to be in the new club championship competition that EA sports have created, as well as hidden stadiums that need unlocked and regular ones that are made up. Another example of the great graphics in ...

...years I have played many fifa games, not owning them all but at least having owned every fifa pc game since fifa 98 I find it just gets better and better. So when Fifa 2003 was released and that was the year I got my PS2 i decided to give it a go!
Graphics
This is another fantastic Fifa game and just like every other year the graphics are getting better and better. There are over 20 or so real stadiums featured in the game and each look just like ... ...Music
With every other Fifa game, the commentry is a bonus that I look especially forward to!! The commentary for Fifa 2003 is brought to us by none other than John Motson and Ally McCoist, they both have their own little laughs and jokes and make the match seem again more realistic! The only annoying thing about the commentray is that I have played this game soooo much I could probably read back half the script. But not to worry, its not too annoying. ...

Advantages: Updated teams and graphics Disadvantages: It is the best footie game ever
...I settled down to play Fifa 2003 I wasn't expecting too much, even though I was aware that this is a completely revamped game. The previous Fifa games had not impressed me. I'd already snapped up league leader Pro Evolution 2 and rented This Is Football 2003 so I knew what the key opposition was like. Well I have to say that I am in shock over what must easily be the best Fifa football game ever. The general presentation and menus and so on are still ... ...didn't seem possible in previous Fifa games. Shooting requires more thought than the usual press and hope efforts of the past too. Games are now exciting without endless goals.
Gripes? Well the auto player selection is still substandard when trying to defend. It seems very hard to get control of your defenders to stop skilful attackers running in on goal. I also thought that the camera views always seemed to show the action either slightly too far ...

Another addition to the FIFA series I borrowed this from a mate tried to avoid giving it back and when he came round to demand it back had to go buy my own copy.
Anybody who likes Footy games will have played one of the FIFA series at some point in their game playing life.
I still have my copy of FIFA 96 that was my first introduction!
However, FIFA broke the mould with this game it’s not like all the others! It’s better, before all EA Sports ... ...FIFA onto a faster running system and update the player database.
This FIFA is very different, my first couple of goes on it I hated it, it was not the FIFA I had come to love! I persevered and now playing the old FIFA feels like playing Space Invades on my old Spectrum
The players dribble better, shooting is harder but more life-like, different teams have different playing styles and if a team is losing they will bring on forwards, take off defenders, ...

Advantages: All new game design from Fifa. Great fun! Disadvantages: Commentary is the usual annoying comments
Fifa 2003 is completely different from any of the previous Fifa games. It has new in-stadium atmosphere (crowd chants), new goalkeeper realism (better diving, realistic movement), new detailed player animations (look very like actual players), new ball control and new free kick control (which is great fun). Other new features include new dribbling, shooting, crossing and passing.
There are well over 10,000 real players and 350 teams in 16 different ... ...and plenty of teams and players to choose from.
(There is a new Fifa game out, Fifa 2004. But Fifa 2003 is selling on the cheap and it is a very suitable deputy.)
I would recommend this game if you want a great football game at a cheap price. ...

FIFA Football 2003 is the third title of the FIFA series for PS2. FIFA's previous titles on PS2 have not lived up to the quality of Pro Evolution Soccer will things be any different this time?
In FIFA 2003 you can play as your desired team on a variety of modes. The first one is The Club Championship which has the top 18 clubs in Europe slogging it out for the biggest prize in the game. This is a fun mode if you support any of the top teams like ... ...matter of seconds.
For me Pro evolution Soccer 2 is a far better package in terms of controls and game play but it will annoy you with no licencing on it. FIFA 2003 is not the best try PES2 instead.

Fifa 2003 is a super game, it keeps improving every year and 2003 is no different. The graphics are superb especially when there is a close up of the player. Goal scoring is made difficult wich makes for more realistic gameplay, the only poor thing is when you do score the celebrations aren´t that good. There are alot of competitions to choose from including the club championship wich includes teams like Real Madrid and Manchester United.During gameplay ... ...signature moves and the realistic graphics make it even better.Overall fifa 2003 has no limitations it will keep you occupied for hours with all the options and the gameplay is so realistic you wont want to put the controller down, it´s a super game one all soccer fans should have. ...

Advantages: Great Graphics and Gameplay Disadvantages: Can Be Easy To Master
The latest installment of the Fifa series is out and we've come along way since the original on the Sega Megadrive. The Game
========
Fifa 2003 consists of many leagues to play from the English Premiership to Spain's La Liga. With loads of clubs from AC Milan to Macabi Hafia. Apart from the leagues, you can compete in the various cups and tournaments. You can fiddle with your starting line-up, formation and who takes the free kicks and corners. ... ...thing, beat players with skill and play through balls into the path of your running players. Score directly from free-kicks and even add a bit swerve (a la David Beckham) using the kick meter. The game real involves you as you pit your stuff against the improved AI (Artifical Inteligence). This real has improved from previous games, lead 1-0 with 10 mins to go and watch the computer barrack you and throw everything forward.

...lot better than the old Fifa games. I give full credit to EA Sports for producing this game and lets hope they continue to make the game better and better every year.
I think they should possibly bring back Andy Gray as a commentator cos he was superb on Fifa 2002 and his comments are still used by me and my friends today. I feel this game is a must buy, so go and be the 12th man. ...

Advantages: Excellent graphics and new control's Disadvantages: --
...The sound in FIFA 2003 is excellent from each teams fans having their own songs to sing and instruments to play to the running commentary during the match. In many of the FIFA games there has not been alot of difference between them until now. The gameplay has been improved alot and is excellent, there is now a real flow when playing FIFA 2003, you now have tricks even Zindane would be proud of at your fingertips, which is why I have enjoyed this ... ...extra tricks which can be activated by moving the right analogue stick (freestyle control). The best new feature is the new style free kick which allows you to pick where you strike the ball to control swerve, this has undoubtly been inspired by Beckham but well done this has added a new dimension of reality into the game especially in multiplayer mode. The usual features are in the game, with you able to pick from over 350 teams to play in 16 leagues ...

Having played every fifa game going this is the best yet unsuprisingly. The graphics are tops, with fans actually looking like fans and the players increasingly more looking like players. The game will last you a while to, theres so many tournaments to compete in with stadiums to unlock.

...game, but I've had the Fifa franchise on many platforms now and I've always found it to be a winner.
The only downside to the game is it can run a bit slowly, this creates a lack of fluency to the commentary and can annoy you when you are waiting for menus to come up. Advantages: very flowing + user friendly Disadvantages: not too many skills to try during a match
I first brought this game second hand at christmas just for a bit of a multiplayer laugh with all my mates, but when they had left i found my self getting stuck into the seson and cup modes, what a game.
The graphics are the best yet and are a big improvment on 2002, the croud is picked out in more detail and i could swear i heard them chanting my name!!, the creases on the shirts/shorts make the player look much more lifelike and all of the well ... ...are good and the pitch has different shades unlike previous fifa's.
The game itself is fairly easy to play once you get used to the basic controls, i would've liked to see more available skills like in 2004 but never the less the game is enjoyable. One of the good things about the game is the way the players are all diffeerent and better at different, tierry henry is fast and has a exellent shot, david beckham is a good crosser and freekick taker ...

...the comparitively promitive graphics of Fifa on PS One! I was immediately hooked. There is great attention to detail from El Hadji Diouf's bleached hair to David Seaman's ponytail.
