...is one of the best FIFA games so far. The only one I thought was close to it within the whole FIFA games was FIFA 99, back in the PSone days. The game now has more official leaguesand team licences than any other football game. It makes Pro Evolution Soccer look like the kid who was picked last in a school football game during lunchtimes. To be exact, FIFA Football 2005 has 18 leagues, 38 national teams and over 11,000 real players.

...Evolution Soccer series. But has FIFA finally stepped up their game enough to challenge PES's supremacy? In a word, no. But that doesn't mean that EA Sports didn't put out a solid effort.
PRESENTATION - 9/10
Most EA titles have great presentation. There's a particular feel that they all have which is very familiar to long-time EA Sports fans such as myself. If you like it, you'll feel right at home. If you don't, then feel free to complain, but ... ...doesn't have all of this. FIFA finally added the full Mexican League to the mix, which will make many of our friends south of the U.S. border very happy. The 18 leagues, 40 national teams, and 11,000 players represented in this game will please many a football fan.
GRAPHICS - 10/10
No football game looks as beautiful as FIFA. It's as simple as that. The aforementioned accurate kits look splendid, but their accuracy is quickly forgotten due to the ...

...football lovers there is the Fifa series. Ever since the 1990's Electronic Arts have updated this series every year and gamers are sick of it because there is a lack of differentiation between each installment. So now I will see whether EA have done anything at all to change the game to keep loyal fifa lovers happy.

So till around the Fifa 2003 installment I hadn't played any other because I was always told that Fifa hadn't changed. The moment I played Fifa 2003 I felt it had changed but still kept the old feel of the game which was what loyal fans enjoyed. I still wasn't convinced about the game and I went back to pro evolution soccer. When the 2004 installment came out I got it for ...

...EA Sports, of course. The Fifa series have always been a best-selling title, since the early years of the Nintendo 64, and even before than that. Why has FIFA always been selling so many copies, year after year? Because the game was great? Fifa 98 was an enormous success due to the major improvement EA made to the FIFA series, and that actually, it was a very enjoyable football game. This though, is 2005.
Lately we have been seeing some strange things happening from EA Sports' FIFA titles. They have always been pretty much the same, hardly any changes were made each year, and yet FIFA managed to be the best-selling football title, year after year. Fifa 2005 has changed, though. ...

The annual fifa football game is being snapped off the shelves. Only this year I haven't found much of an improvment than the past few years.
First time of playing the game you asked to pick your team. Your selected team's stadium is then the background.
There is a create player feature which is self explanitary & I'll leave it for you to judge.
It has the usual game play modes, Quick start, cups & leagues. There is a new style of 'career' mode.

Advantages: Career Mode, Easier set pieces Disadvantages: Commentary, Player Search
The new Fifa is much bigger and better than the old ones, with the addition of the career mode. If you like management games but prefer to be able to control your own destiny rather than relying on the 11 you put out to get the results for you, then this game is for you. So FIFA 2004 was a let down, and people were saying that FIFA's reign as the best football game was over as Pro Evolution Soccer is getting better and better. But FIFA bites back at the media with FIFA 2005.

Like FIFA 2004 a new feature was added into the next FIFA game. This time EA Sports have added the First Touch feature. Now when your players collect the ball you can swivel in dirrection with a flick of the analouge stick.
