Have you been pampered

Advantages: A little does go a long way
Disadvantages: A bit expensive if not bought as part of an offer

...I have ended up with fairy liquid in my cupboard recently as they where on offer. Now according to the people at fairy this product not only leaves you dishes feeling squeaky clean but it also pampers your hands, is this true or just another marketing gimmick? Well we shall see. When I purchased my Fairy Liquid I did notice that Fairy had branched out and now have a wider range of fragrances and not just original and lemon as they have had in the ...
...Petals scent. Fairy now comes in a see through plastic bottle as do most well known branded washing up liquids we are supposedly seduced by the lovely colours that they come in, OK the ladies will be interested in the colours particularly if you wish to colour co-ordinate your washing up liquid to your kitchen. The colours are designed to match the scent and as you would expect my Fresh Lavender is a purple shade and my Pink Petals fragrance a very ...

In my spare time I am just a regular scrubber

Advantages: Long lasting, excellent performance, nice fragrances, good value in the long run
Disadvantages: Pink one stinks horrible

...a sexy purple bottle of Fairy Liquid being advertised on my TV, in a slinky looking bottle, with new fragrances to fill my kitchen with a new and fresh aroma. Ever since Fairy had a new face lift and launched their all new aromatics range, with new shaped bottles made with clear plastic (easier to spot when your liquid running low), sexy colours to brighten up any kitchen and fragrances to die for, I have not stopped buying Fairy since. The old ...
...a big well done to Fairy (Procter & Gamble) for introducing a fresh idea for all us scrubber uppers. The bottle ----------- The bottle is constructed of strong clear plastic, ideal for giving you an indicated of when to get some more. The shape can only be described as slinky, kind of like a dress makers dummy, minus the boobs, and I have to say is much easier to grip in comparison to the old round and bulky bottle (which could be beneficial to ...

MY GREEN HAIRY LIP SQUID

Advantages: Lasts ages, efficient, reduces scrubbing, cuts through the crap, good value
Disadvantages: None

...reason is, of course, that Fairy liquid really is a very good product. It strikes me as one of the few products that REALLY does what all the advertisements have always suggested – and in this day and age, that make’s it kind of unique as far as I’m concerned. As you are probably aware, Fairy Liquid is made by the well-known detergent manufacturer Procter & Gamble. It seems to have been around forever. As a child, I can remember ...
...– the latest face of Fairy being the television chef Ainsley Harriott who is still trying to prove that a bottle of Fairy liquid will last forever – well, nearly anyway. We live in a strange household in that for the last year or so we have had an electric dishwasher that simply never gets used. We don’t normally make enormous amounts of washing-up, so I prefer to rinse the dishes after dinner and put everything away there and ...

For a lovely flowery smell as you wash up

Advantages: Smells lovely, works well, good price
Disadvantages: None really

...using at the time was Fairy Pink Petals. I tend to buy my washing up liquid according to what is on offer at the time but to be fair you do get what you pay for and fairy is by far the best. The cheaper brands aren't as strong so you need more in your water to start with and also the bubbles don't last as long. Fairy is hardly a new kid on the block - as my old dad would say 'It's been around since Adam was a lad!' I can certainly remember those ...
...your face …….' When Fairy Liquid was first produced I think I am safe in saying that the original green liquid was all that was available. Apparently the discerning housewife / husband now want various flavours - sorry - fragrances to choose from. So now we still have the original green version but now there are many extra fragrances such as lemon twister, lime, pink grapefruit & mint, passion flower storm, summer breeze, apple quake and more including ...

Clean Pots AND Soft Hands!

Advantages: Does exactly as it claims to do.
Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive but worth it.

...myself returning, without fail, to Fairy Liquid. I have found throughout my many years as chief dishwasher that although Fairy Washing Up Liquid is slightly more expensive than others on the self, it does last much longer and therefore is just as economical as the other ones where you have to use maybe 2 or 3 squeezes to keep you going to the bottom of the dish pile. One little squeeze of Fairy Washing Up Liquid is more than enough to cut through ...
...every mealtime, but my trusty Fairy Liquid always manages to cut through all the grease and grim to leave my dishes gleaming and squeaky clean again. If I happen to burn any of my shiny stainless steel pots, which I hate to admit does usually happen most days, then a little squeeze of Fairy Liquid added to the pot with some water and left to soak until your meal is finished helps the burnt pot to be cleaned with ease, again leaving a beautifully ...

Pamper your hands... Fairy Clean and Clear Almond

Advantages: smells like a piece of marzipan, foams well, lasts long
Disadvantages: probably the price, but I feel it's a fair price for this product

...one. So I bought a Fairy Clean and Care Almond 450 ml washing up liquid for 1.4 pounds in Sainsbury’s. Most of the times I do the shopping with my sons, so I have to hurry because they don’t really enjoy walking around in a groceries shop. As they were with me, I didn’t open the lid of the washing up liquid in the shop, I just dropped into the basket. First impressions As I opened its lid it smelled like a piece of marzipan. I like marzipan, and ...

Clean and smelling good! (Fairy Liquid)

Advantages: A little goes a long way so it lasts for a long time.
Disadvantages: Tempting to use too much which results in huge volumes of bubbles, everywhere!

Fairy Original washing up liquid, although used less in our house now due to the use of a dishwasher, it still takes pride of place next to the kitchen sink. The bottle I have is 450ml and made of clear flexible plastic allowing for the liquid to be squeezed out with easy. The top is a red flip top and made of plastic. The bottle I have cost 98p and boasts it contains 50% extra too, so looking good on the value side of things. The label contains ...
...water. The fragrance of the Fairy Original is fresh and not too over powering. The finish when the items you have cleaned are dry is excellent, there is a gleaming shine left which lasts so you really feel the dishes are completely clean. I haven't tried a supermarket own brand of washing up liquid as I feel, as it states on the bottle, "Fairy is the original and the best". I'm not sure how popular washing up liquid will remain in the future as more ...

My Blue Christmas Fairy

Advantages: cleans well, controls germs on sponges, lasts well
Disadvantages: not keen on the smell, can be harsh on hands

...Ho hum. So which fairy am I putting on our Christmas tree this year? That’s right, it’s Extra Hygiene Fairy! She’s curvy, with a red top and a bright blue colour. Unfortunately, she doesn’t settle well between the branches, so I’ll have to resort to using her as washing-up liquid. This Fairy is a new version of the old favourite. It doesn’t come in the old white round bottle, but in a see-through shapely one ...
...is a bonus. The Fairy bottle has a small picture of this liquid being squirted on sponges, so there’s your clue! But it does actually clean your dishes too and this was the main reason I bought it. It cleans well, doesn’t leave any nasty bits of old food and it rinses easily. (Another of my pet hates are so-called clean dishes that make your food taste soapy, because they haven’t been rinsed!) I bought a 375ml bottle for just ...

Fairy Clean and Care...

Advantages: Smells and feels nice and does the job!
Disadvantages: Expensive, doesnt last very long!

Who has tried the new Fairy Clean and Care range of washing up liquid?? Well i grabbed two for £2 and i have to say i was very disappointed in the new Fairy, it doesnt last very long at all compared to their other washing up liquids which normally last a good 3-4 weeks, the new one has lasted me literally a week and a half, it doesnt stay soapy on the sponge at all. I have not changed nothing from what i would normally wash up, same old, bottles, ...
...lid, i had to put fairy on the sponge at least 3 times, where as with a normal bottle of fairy normally one little squeeze of washing up liquid does the trick. This new fairy just doesnt do it for me when it comes to washing up, dont get me wrong it does the job but you just have to use a lot more!! === There are 3 types in this range === 1. Aloe Vera and cucumber - which is a light green colour, i must admit it does smell really nice. 2. Silk ...

Fairy Naturals classic antibac with Eucalyptus

Advantages: Its washing up liquid
Disadvantages: Its a total lie about it lating longer.

...and which ones didnt. Fairy liquid never impressed me, even in its array or pretty colours and scents. So Im not entirely sure then, why I chose to buy Fairy when I moved out. My boyfriends parents made us loads of boxes up of essentials, like pasta and rice and washing powder tablet thingy majigs... and a bottle of Fairy. It was one of those large bottles that contains 750ml. I think the smaller ones are 500ml. Anyway the bottle lasted about 2 ...
...a day. So surely, the Fairy liquid thats advertised to last longer than any other should have done us for much more than 14 lots of dishes. Lets do some maths....750ml, used 14 times, so 750 divided by 14 is ....53.571428571....etc. Which works out at something like 1/15th of the bottle a go..no wait we've already said that, so that means the percentage is something like 13 - 15% ...no its too hard. I think my brains gonna explode. Anyway, the point ...

NOT JUST FOR WASHING DISHES

Advantages: Multi-purpose, widely available, great fragrances.
Disadvantages: Rather expensive product.

...have always come back to Fairy in the end. Fairy's main rivals appear to be Persil and Morning Fresh, well I have tried both of these brands and although they were pleasant and did the job reasonably well, they were nothing to write home about. Nothing has beaten Fairy in giving me sparkling clean dishes, cutting through grease and grime, and giving abundant soapy bubbles that last for ages. ...care products around the world. Fairy liquid costs around 89p for a 500ml bottle, there are also some larger bottles that retail for around £1.69, but I am not sure how large the bottles are. I cannot really remember what the other fragrances are in the Fairy range, although Original Fairy is still there among them. I'm going to let you into a little secret now. Fairy Has Lost Its Bottle

Advantages: Economical if used properly
Disadvantages: Cant make spaceships out of the new bottle

Made by Proctor and Gamble, Fairy Washing Up Liquid has been part of my kitchen for as long as I can remember and long may it continue to be so. But little boys will rue the day that Fairy lost its bottle. Gone is the long sleek shape that was so handy for making rocket ships and things, if they were patient enough to wait for it to become empty, that is. Now there is a much more curvaceous container in a sexy see through plastic. It still contains ...
...Many people will not buy Fairy Liquid as it is more expensive than other brands but you really can use less per washing up session so a bottle does last longer and actually works out cheaper. I started to use a new bottle just after Xmas 99 and bought its replacement in August 2000. O.K. So mine is an exceptional case as there is just me to cater for with just items after breakfast, a few after lunch and a full meal’s worth after my tea. The ...

...the receiving end of the Fairy Liquid treatment ? Having done some Internet research it seems that that advertisement did run all of those years ago. Makes Your Hair Fall Out??!!

Advantages: A little goes a long way. Inexpensive. Highly effective.
Disadvantages: Makes your hair fall out??!!

...reason I choose to use Fairy Washing Up Liquid, in preference to the multitude of other (cheaper and inferior) brands that proliferate the supermarket shelves. Put simply, it gets the job done with the minimum of fuss and bother, and leaves me free to pursue more pleasurable activities. Disadvantages: where's the lemon

...food chain than to use Fairy Washing Up Liquid with the scent of apple and lemon? ** Please Note I am not ‘upper class’ and the few lines above have no bearing on my attitude towards social levels of society, it’s just my humour. ...decorate the label nicely as does the cute picture of a cartoon style baby. Upon opening the bottle I am presented with a lovely aroma, the smell of apples scent the immediate air. No hint of Lemon as is suggested on the label, but the smell is pleasant enough. The test though is to see if it does the job.
