    I've said in another review for Fake Bake Original that I'm naturally quite pale, and find it hard to tan, so I've been on the hunt for a great fake tan for years. It needs to be good value for money, natural looking and last at least for three days before re-applying, and be fairly dark, but not over the top, and obviously no streaks! No funny smell, and just generally nice to use. So first off, like always, to give every fake tan a chance I prep my skin as best as possible. I exfoliate all over, and i mean SCRUB!     Who doesn't love a bit of fake tan? You cannot beat that sun-kissed glow! I have tried most fake tan products out there and this is my favourite. It is so easy to put on because it is black (but don't worry this is just the colour guide!). It comes with gloves which help you to rub the lotion right in therefore no patches and no streaks! Then in the morning, be prepared for a shock when you are an awful colour (but again don't worry this is just the colour guide which will wash off to leave you looking amazingly tanned!).     I bought this as a gift set in TK Maxx. It included the body polish, body lotion and of course the tanning lotion!!. It cost £16.99 (rrp49.99). I have always used St Tropez in the past but found it not to be as good on my skin as in the past so had been using the body shop everyday (I know they seem to be one extreme to the other however the body shop is a great inbetween. Anyway back to beyond bronze. I purchased this and the same night exfoliated, moisturised (whole body) and appliled the tan (whole body).     Having a whole shelf dedicated to around 20 bottles of different fake tan this particular one is one of the best fake tans i have ever tried however i have a couple of dry patches of skin on my arms which always turns out the colour of the fake bake in the bottle after its been washed off and no matter how much you exfoliate ur arms and knees they always turn out a much more brown colour therefore making it look unnatural. Another downside is you can't use proper soap/shower gel or it looks really patchy. i would not recommend using this particular fake bake on your face-it turns out looking ... more

    Advantages Advantages even,natural, can see where you need to apply for even coverage, dries immediatly

    I adore this self tanning product. Fantastic when applied as you can acutally see the colour where your applying, doesnt go on as even but the longer it is left the longer the colour has to develop and it will last longer on the skin. Fantastic dark colour and when residue is washed off it leaves a very very natural bronzed looking tan, even coverage, lovely summer smell and no need to keep reapplying for a darker tan!! One disadvantage is it does have alot of over spray which can turn the area the colour you are, and also your sheets, howeve washes off very simply leaving no marks no staining ... more
