Fake Bake is a tanning lotion which you can apply to your face and body. This is an advantage because you can apply it to your whole body without worrying if your face is pale and your body is tanned! ...I have been using different fake tans for as long as I can remember, and decided to give fake bake a go after hearing good feedback from friends about it. ( I wouldn't usually spend so much on tan - its over £15 for 170ml bottle - but it was on offer in my local chemist!) I had a mixed experience with it, both good and bad. I wouldn't recommend Fake Bake to any first time tanners, as the colour is quite dark, and as I said, I found it difficult to apply compared to others (although I haven't yet tried the mousse, which I would think to be easier.) I also found mixing a bit of fake bake with an oil free moisturiser worked wonders at giving me a more subtle glow, and this is actually what I prefer to do when tanning myself now ;) ...

I would not recommend fakebake at all! At least not for those with light hair and eyes! The product was really easy to apply and did not streak, but when I washed the colour guide off the next day, I was well and truly ORANGE. This may be due to the fact I am quite pale anyway, or that I have blonde hair and blue eyes which may accentuate the colour, but I certainly will not be using it again. I applied it as per the instructions and despite the smell that always comes with fake tan i felt quite hopeful after hearing how all these celebrities rated it. I made sure I was fully moisturised and started with the legs WEARING GLOVES! The lotion is dark dark drown and very thick. ...of the name of the fake bake product and in my opinion, its the best for colour you wont find a more natural looking colour than the fake bake, it goes on your skin the same colour it dries and you have full control over the intensity of the tan you want, which is very important when your using it for an exra bit of colour or if you have a special occasion, and want to look like youve just stepped off the beach! must be applied with thick plastic ...
