    2 years ago, I was living in Mexico. Now, Mexico City is a rather dirty and smelly place a lot of the time, especially when you're walking around or taking the metro, things I used to do on a daily basis. Additionally, an extortionate number of people, including most of my friends there, smoked.     Living in a box room, in a flat full of Sporty boys at University has its downsides. The smells for instance - the toilets stink and they leave their dirty, muddy washing everywhere (apparently they have no idea how to work a washing machine!)     I would like to begin this review by asking if any of you have ever suffered from a leaking radiator? Or for that matter ever been inside a building where a radiator has leaked? If you have, you will remember that not only do burst radiators give you soggy carpets; they also make your soggy carpets very smelly. The water inside radiators is rather stinky- it reminds me of stagnant ponds, but I have also heard it being compared to a dead squirrel!     My bottle of Febreze is 500ml of odour neutraliser. So if your kitchen’s nearer to your living room than you might like, or if you love your dog/cat/lizard but can’t stand the stink they trail around the house, then Febreze is for you. I’ve seen the 500ml bottle retail from between 99p to £2.79 so shop around and don’t ever buy anything other than fags and the paper from Dillons the extortionate newsagent.     Advantages Advantages less expensive than other less effective methods, very effective, price is reasonable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price can vary widely, some people may ot approve of its manufacturer

    ~~~~Why I bought this~~~~ I am a big advocate of trying to discover what is causing the odour and cleaning it or getting rid of it to solve the problem. This is not always practical, or even possible in some cases. My first experience with Febreze came when we moved into rented accommodation. We were not allowed to paint, and the bedrooms and lounge had been freshly wallpapered anyway.     We moved house in June and it is only in the past couple of months that I have started unpacking the bags of non-essential things. These included several bin bags full of my cuddly toy collection, particularly my TY beanies.     Any house, no matter how much time you spend cleaning it, is bound to have its fair share of smells every so often. Mine is no exception. Home to one cat, one child, me, and my boyfriend, who both smoke, it often needs a little freshening. Easiest way of course is to find out what smells, and wash it. However, sometimes that's just not practical, because of time constraints. For example, when visitors pop round on short notice, you can't very well say 'Just wait there 2 hours while I wash and press the cushion covers' can you?     Febreze has to be one of my favourite air fresheners. I love to use Febreze everywhere I can which is why I have such a strong opinion over this product. I have been using Febreze only up until recently but have used it many times since, as this is such an amazing product. What is Febreze? Febreze is much more than a poxy old air freshener as this product can be used on so many different things you find around the house.
