I bought my cherry red 2005 Nashville Tele from a New Jersey guitar dealer because it looked like a bargain - second hand, but new condition. It cost $389. After paying for postage and import duty, it cost me about £340 overall. This is the best value for money guitar I have ever bought!
The finish is superb quality, and it looks every inch as good as any of the USA models. Telecaster purists may not like the individual bridge segments for each ... ...in my opinion, and the machine heads work well with a good feel.
Playability is superb - the intonation is excellent. The guitar is the best playing Telecaster I have ever encountered, with a fast action and good string spacing.

What makes this guitar so different from other Telecasters is the fact that it has a third pickup between the two others. This, combined with a five way switch (taken straight from a USA strat) gives you a huge variety of sounds, from twangy pop, to dark melodic blues.
The pickups themselves are Tex-Mex (two ... ...that although made in Mexico, they have the same components as the American ones. The bridge pickup being very bright, getting bassier and bluesier as you switch towards the neck. All three pickups are adjustable, by screws, so that you can customize your sound by raising or lowering each one.
