## Summary ##
The Mini Duna cage is a nice home for any dwarf hamster. I'm not sure that it's suitable for a Syrian, as I know they love to climb bars on their cages and also they get considerably bigger, so it's perhaps a little small for them.
But buy a Mini Duna for a dwarf hamster, line the bottom of the cage with sawdust, the dish with food and the bottle with water. Put some bedding ...

I bought this cage around about a year ago for a lone male mouse.
Ive found this to be a perfect cage for mice as it's of a decent size for the inquisitive little fuzzbums, with decent floor space and just tall enough for a few climbing toys. It would probably house a small group of mice but Dr Pepper would'nt be too happy as he doesnt get on with others! Despite being called the mini Duna it is relatively large but this is a good thing as most ... ...Dr Pepper in there for a year ive found that it's also escape proof. With a durable plastic base, and small bar sacing on the opening hatch. I find this to be especially important seeing as he's a devil to find if he wants to go on the run!
When I bought this it came with a food dish, house and sippy water bottle. Both the food bowl and water bowl were great (although plastic so not suitable for say a gerbil) but i found the bottle can be temperamental ...

Advantages: Good size, all included, escape and cat proof! Disadvantages: Lid can be difficult to open/close
I recently purchased the mini duna cage for my two mice (Alpha and Bravo).
This is an ideal cage for mice (and dwarf hamsters) as the plastic base and sides are escape proof and the wire door on the top has sufficiently small bar spaing to prevent mice from squeasing through, and/or cat paws squeasing in!
The plastic level provided is great for creating extra floor space and a sheltered sleeping area within the cage, but can also be removed with ... ...wheel, dish, house and brilliant 'sippy' water bottle (fills from the top - genious!) provided are of a high standard and very duarble.
Although named the 'mini duna' the cage is still relativly large 55cm x 39cm x 27cm, so get the tape measure out before you buy and make sure you have room. Remember cages are never too big for the animals, just for the people who live around them!
The mini duna will easily house a small group of mice or a pair ...

Advantages: No draughts! Disadvantages: Not much floor space for extra toys/wheels.
This is an all round great cage, easy to clean and good access to your pets. The only problem I have found is the plastic roof can crack easily around the door hinge. With the level there is not a huge amount of room if you need to add two wheels (for example if you have two dwarf hamsters). It is a reasonable size for smaller pets (dwarf hamsters, mice) but a bit small for gerbils or Syrian hamsters. Due to the all-plastic sides, ventilation may ...
