Yeah ok Ferrari are a great team, not my favourite, but yeah a good team none the less. My criticism goes to the lack of support for their number 2 drivers. Last year (1999) was a classic example of a team getting it wrong. Ok if he hadn't had his accident at Silverstone, Michael might have won his 3rd championship, i doubt it but he might've. If they hadn't backed Michael 99% of the time, from the start of the '99 season, Irvine may have been able ... ...might've become champ himself, despite his lack of support as the number 2. What's the saying? Never put all your eggs in one basket, well that never applied, in F1, more than it did last year. If all drivers had equal status within their respective teams then we would see just what each driver's capabilities are and then we might have a more fair and interesting championship to watch. ...

...between Mclaren and Ferrari; when Ferrari won the team title in 1999 it put the teams (roughly) level. This year they won both and proved they were a more consistent team, if maybe not having better car. Schumacher's influence in this cannot be underestimated. As a driver he is without parallel in the world today (it is a great pity that Senna is no longer with us - for they would have some truly great battles) with Hakkinen being the only one even ... ...they wanted to - a Ferrari world champ.
So are there any solutions? Nothing that is likely to happen. The only top level driver likely to move soon, in my opinion, is David Coulthard who may well not be getting a fair crack of the whip from McLaren. Ralf Schumacher has all his brother's potential and given a drive in one of the top 2 teams would make it very interesting. The brothers at Ferrari - now that would be interesting. Ferrari have the longest tradition in the sport of Formula One Motor Racing, being founded by Enzo Ferrari and having competed in every Grand Prix since 1950, when the official world championship started. Ferrari used to be a great team winning more titles than any other. Since the late 1970's though, they have struggled with reliability being their main problem.
Nigel Mansell helped to turn things around in 1991, winning several races for them, ... ...Schumacher is on board, and Ferrari have finally overcome this reliability problem the title is there for the taking. Barrichello is a good number two driver for the team and Jean Todt has a good brain when it comes to race strategy.

Today, Suzuka, in Japan witnessed a remarkable victory for the Ferrari team as Michael Schumacher won, followed by Mika Hakkinen and Coulthard as third.
Although Hakkinen made a blistering start, Schumacher was always on the pace throughout the race. Throughout the race both world champions ... ...pit stop by the Ferrari pit team whereby Michael made a stop of 7.4 secs compared to Mika’s 6.6 secs which allowed Michael to go an extra 2 laps before pitting again for the final time. So the last stop of Michael’s was shorter and enabled him to come out in front of Mika on Lap 37 and go on to win the race.

ferrari are one of the front runners in formula one,though i still feel they are behind mclaren.they have the brilliant michael schumacher racing for them and he can spearhead a ferrari title charge as well as competing fiercely for the drivers championship with mika hakkinen.however,schumacher has failed to finish the last few races,putting a bit of a dent in these hopes.barichello has not livd up the expectations of him,winning just oncer so far ...

Well for how long has Ferrari been at the forefront of everyone's dreams?
for decades they have been the supreme machine & it seems from todays performances that Ferrari will continue to dominate. Formula 1 has a massive audience and reaches people all over the world!
M Schumacker has achieved an outstanding amount in his career. just starting off in the background, then progerssing amonst the BEST in the world, & now having reached the top, is ... ...win once again.
the contructor's championship is close, with ferrari in 2nd position, but with both ferrari team mates continuing to come 1st & 2nd, they will no doubt prove to be he best once again.

Ferrari is a legendary car, and can be very influential to the FIA due to its high puplic stature and the Tifosi that follows them.
Ferrari is an excellent car, and one of the best right now.
Currently there is nothing to separate McLaren and Ferrari, but personally I prefer Ferarri.

...pit crew (not recommended), but Ferrari seem to have much less than other teams.
Hopefully next season will be another good one for Ferrari although the only real competitors are McClaren. In a few years there maybe some more, probably Williams or Jordan or maybe even Jaguar!! Either way, it's great entertainment! ...

...yes, we would all love ferrari to win the constructors championship, but can they really do it? They undoubtedly have the best driver on the circuit with schumaker, but lets face it, the car is still second best. The only way I see ferrari taking the championship is to have more races where there is heavy rain which will slow all the drivers down, with the exception of schumaker who seems to love the rain and be head and tails above all else.
