i purchased my grande punto (1.9 multi jet sporting) in Feb 2008. i have had so mny problems with this car that it is in th garage more than it is driven and sometimes for up 2 2 weeks. the electric windows go up and down only when they want to. when braking in reverse u hear an awful grinding noise. the car loses acceleration mainly in 2nd gear altho i had quite a scary experience in the fast lane of the motorway! or pulling out on2 a busymain road ...

My husband and I initialy signed the papers to puchase a 1.9 TD multijet sporting Grande punto in August 2006, we were given an 8 week estimate of build time however after 8 weeks of no contact we decided to contact the dealer ourselves, we were told "You have about 8-10 weeks left on your build" no appoligies for the delay! ...
