Fiat Marea 1.8

we have owned a Marea for the last 4 years, it was an absollute bargain at £3000 when it was 4yrs old and about 50,000miles. this car has a very good engine, it is very flexible so driving round a corner in the wrong gear isnt that much of a problem. it will actually run at about 16mph in 5th gear whilst idling, and its not a challenge to pull away in 4th (of course this isnt advisable). in the 4 years nothing has gone wrong except the cam belt breaking at 50mph, which was obviously expensive, apparently it is advisable to change the belts after about 35,000 miles rather than the fiat quoted ... more

This review is entitled Paul Groves: to those of you not from Grimsby, Groves played for the football club over two spells from 1992 until 2004, eventually becoming manager. Groves had it all: passing, heading, shooting, fitness and as well as being top scorer on a regular basis, Groves was also the captain and ever present over several seasons. Unfortunately, Groves had a slight image problem, came over as a rather dour person and lacked charisma and creativity, virtues the fans wanted to see.
