The interior was well presented in terms of materials, although it has to be said the cassette deck as standard was a bit of a disappointment (CD players are an optional extra). ...never have normally considered a Fiat before due to their appalling reputation for reliability, rusting, poor dealer service and interior quality, but when my wifes Skoda Fabia needed replacing, we checked the Panda out and I was amazed! Voted car of the year, should mean that this motor is the best availble, but is it? Good value, and pretty comfortable means a lot, and when you first sit in the new panda, you are pleasently supprised. Memories of the old cramped Panda, are imediatly banished, and a sense of importance and pride becomes you. Once you start the engine, and move off though, the illusion is sadly shattered. Awkward cluthc and gear changes make for a difficult drive, ...
...road, the road noise can be very bad, forcing you to turn the stereo up for every 10 miles per hour extra you drive! A problem with all Fiats in the past has been reliability. As yet, there are few problems, only time will tell though. Depriciation is another problem of Fiats, It's best to buy second hand if you can, and save a huge loss of money in the first year.
